From Ben Burns: A few weeks ago, I successfully played on Illinois when it upset Western Kentucky. Readers of this column may recall that we successfully played against the Illini in their following game. Playing their first road game and doing so on a short week, I predicted that they'd get blown out at USF. They did.
The shoe is on the other foot this time though. Illinois hasn't played since that loss at USF, a full two weeks. Nebraska, on the other hand, will be playing on a short week. Also, the Huskers face Wisconsin next week. Note that Nebraska lost its only road game and also that the Huskers, who lost outright vs. Northern Illinois, have yet to win a game by more than 10 points.
The last meeting here saw Illinois score an upset, a 14-13 win in 2015. The Illini also covered at Nebraska last season. With the schedule in favor of the home dog, consider grabbing the points with Illinois.

This game is still 2 weeks away and 110 people have already taken the line off the Streak Survivor board by piling on MSU. WTF? |

How do you beat a team that averages 250+ yards rushing and 225+ yards passing with also the best defense in the country? You don't. LSU scores late to get within a touchdown after Bama comfortably holds a 14 point lead most of the 4th. LSU +7.5 at home. |

UO is 10-0 vs ISU and 8-2 ATS in that time. At #14 in CFP rankings with 4 two loss teams ahead of them and 5 one loss teams ahead of them, UO knows that style points will go a long way toward moving up that list if any of those 9 teams trip up.
Oklahoma big and easy in this one. |

Tigers defense will be too much. They'll only need a couple scores to win. 13-3 Auburn. |

USC's record will deceive many into taking Utah, but Stanford and Alabama are both great teams. This is the biggest game of the year for USC as 1-3 is a deep hole to climb out. USC and the points. |

Texas has won 9 out of 10 covering 7 out of those 10 games, but how do you bet on such a ragged team. I'm staying far away from this one. |

No way, I love the new setup here at Covers. It could look like ESPN, remember. I like the public being heavy on the home favorite here. KSU rushes for 150/gm and tonight plays a team that gives up 173 rushing yds/gm. That's a good underdog matchup. Combine that with 2 ints/gm for Ohio over the last three games, and I'm all KSU. If the public were usually right, it wouldn't be gambling. |

I see the free pick on this game suggests the over, but I'm not sure Cleveland will be able to contribute enough points to get there. I don't usually like big lines, but the home team historically wins, and Cinci has a good team this year. 28-10 Bengals. |

From the NFL.com cheat sheet - "The Saints have won each of the last six games against the Buccaneers. If the streak is extended to seven games, the Buccaneers are ensured of the No. 1 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft."
New Orleans wins this game by a mountain of points because of this very reason. Easiest money of the day. |

Your point about player impact is spot on. However, I think NEB is pissed and Riley has the ability to get them fired up enough to cover. Quote Originally Posted by LonghornHoosier:
