Hey guys, long time covers member here. I have been following picks on this website for years, but have never really placed any of my own. I"ll be placing a couple of picks from subscriptions I signed up for this year. 8-3 on my first 11 picks of the year. Of course, now that I will start posting them, that will all change. lol. Went 1-1 today with the Cubs, lost the over by a lot! Anyways, just thought I would introduce myself and wish everyone luck on this weird season. I'll post the picks I get when I get them. Been successful so far. -cr0wn |

His picture is on the side of MGM. His house. He will never lose a decision in this building. I live right behind the Palms Casino and he has his own personal glass enclosed betting box for him and his friends, which he has used once. Floyd owns Vegas. Only chance Manny has is to knock his behind out, but Freddie Roach already said they were training for volume and to just score points. |

Big Cubbie fan, but, staying away. If there was a play it would be Cubs. Blown out 2 games straight and now bringing up Bryant. Love that we retained him for an extra year. Good moves front office.

How can anyone pick Cincinnati??? Cincinnati ML (Good Luck. Everyone!!!)
My thoughts exactly. The line didn't even move when the announcement of AJ Greens' status for the game. I'm thinking this is a 3 point game. Give me Cincy + anything 3 or more. When it looks too good to be true, in my experience, it usually is. |

But .with this line not moving all week till this morning when it went to 3.5 (yes more jet money came in) With Vick getting now 2 full weeks of practice ,(which is a big deal) with The Jets stopping the run pretty well(its about the only thing) .Jets win orlose this game 23-12 .Love the Under 48 Now for the childish FIX comment . That makes a lot of sense NFL network ,CBS FOX ESPN THE NFL as a league are all risking there billion upon billion dollar license to print money organization all on this game of all of them the JETS and the STEELERS . Just tell me why would they fix a game any game ,for what purpose ,how does this help them make more money enlighten us ,KID Exactly. What would the NFL have to gain by fixing a game? The NFL is the most popular brand of sport on the planet and make billions. It's a game guys. These are human beings. It takes one offensive lineman to have a bad day to ruin the entire scheme. Stop blaming your loses on "fixes". Accept that it's a game and anyone on any given day can win. NFL benefits in now way shape or form by fixing games to benefit Vegas. It baffles me how some people can convince themselves of this. Think of the complexity of the game. I can see the refs taking a bribe to favor one team or another, but that would have nothing to do with the NFL as an organization and I believe is far fetched in this day and age. |

Yes, it's unfortunate that all these little kids and ganstar wannabe's such as IM up there have run off a lot of good cappers over the years. I still come back from time to time, but see that it's just gotten worse. These fools just create new account after new account, such as this guy who has almost 700 posts in a little under 3 month's adding nothing of value to the thread. Just bashing because they are insecure teenagers. Sad really.

In November 2012, Grantland.com cited an academic study that concluded Crawford’s presence officiating Spurs games has had no impact on the team’s performance over the last decade. Rodenberg looked at the expected scoring margins and win-loss outcomes of every San Antonio game in that span and measured whether each individual official who refereed a Spurs game during that time — 95 refs in total — had any noticeable impact in either direction. … Joey Crawford is right in that meaty middle section, with all the other officials whose work had no discernible impact on San Antonio’s performance. |

There's a 60% chance of rain and an 8MPH wing blowing in from right Not sure those factors will influence the game but I like action and will take this for a small bet.
NYM/ATL - Matt Harvey is going against Alex Wood who has been in the bullpen all year and is getting his first start. Not sure what I like here. 13MPH wind blowing out to right with an 87% chance of rain.
any thoughts? Regardless BOL to all
I'm wondering why this is in the NBA forum? |

IMO in 2011 Dallas/Miami finals i believe the league wanted Dallas to win that season. So sending Foster may have made it look like he was sent to save Miami.
And this is dumbest thing I've heard all day long. My god. |

In other words you have to consider the situation and circumstance. Get a feel for what you think the league wants. I'm not saying i know exactly what they want for each game because it's not that easy. I had a pre-existent belief in how i feel this series was going to go before it began. Once my beliefs were backed up by refs/stats etc. & i was hitting plays based on all that i just continued to use the same pattern/system. The start of this thread i said i intitially liked Miami in 6 or 7. I was/am positive it goes to 6-7 so that's what drove me to continue to follow it up. So everything i did revolved around that. I know that the league likes to extend series and fabricate drama for ratings. So i consider each situation and go from there......So, if Foster happens to Ref game 6....because i believe they would like it to go to 7 i would lean Miami. I'd then consider the stats and wther it would back up taking Miami in this spot. If it did, for example Refs favored the home team 65% i would happily jump on Miami to cover the game. IMO in 2011 Dallas/Miami finals i believe the league wanted Dallas to win that season. So sending Foster may have made it look like he was sent to save Miami. I'm so tired of this bs. Did the refs make Manu play the best game of the season? Did they tell Pop to start Ginobili? Did they allow Green to catch fire and make everything he threw up? I saw questionable calls and no calls for both sides for every game in this finals. These guys have to play basketball. There is no conspiracy and there is no other reason as to why this has went to 6 games other than inconsistent play from both teams. |
