Good to see some Nebraska love...can't believe we opened at -6.5 though. Guessing Warren has to be out but I'll know his and Crocker's situation prior to tip and let you know. Definitely see us winning this game, have not put 2 halves together in conference but this is a good spot for it. Was really hoping for -2 or -3. Best of luck today!

Great work Neil...could not wait for conference to start back uo knowing you would be back. Guessing you went to the game...def. one of Elrdige's on nights--they should be favorites rest of the way til the come to Omaha.
Loved the moneyline bet...

Octavio keep up the good work,
FYI, Texas beat Tennessee pretty handily at a neutral site (New Jersey) 97-78.

Yeah on Saturday was the first time I really watched Drake play and they are underrated Great guard play and their big men know their role. Missouri St. is tough at home but this is the best team to come into Springfield yet.
Only thing that Drake has to play for is a better seed in the NCAA but I think that is enough to get the win.

Georgia Tech played Kansas tough at home and only lost by 5. Georgia Tech controlled UNC last year at home. Line is about right. It will be a great atmosphere and just like any game if Georgia Tech hits some shots they can be in it.
No action for me, too many points on the road in the ACC to take UNC but Georgia Tech has lost to too many bad teams to take them. GL

I like Oklahoma too. Very athletic team that will play hard and think they match up really well with Kansas. Should be able to keep it within 15. GL this week Kev!||thumbs_up.gif' border=0>

Also, I thought this line would come out at around -12 or -13 for KU after they were favored by -10.5 at Boston College just last Saturday and won by 25.
Mario Chalmers did not play in Ku's game on Wed. vs. Loyola-MD with a strained groin but is expected to play tonight.

Kansas -10.5 at Nebraska
So many have contributed to me on here and hopefully I can help someone out with this game as I know both teams pretty well.
Nebraska's Devaney Center is sold out (14,000) and the place will be rocking but Ku will have a decent representation as well. Nebraska is undefeated at home but the only quality win is over Arizona St (62-47). Their win over Oregon was in Omaha. The Huskers have had one of the weakest schedules in the country thus far but also have had a full week to prepare for the Jayhawks.
Last year the Jayhwaks jumped out to a 39-6 lead at Nebraska (yes 39-6) but Nebraska outscored them in the 2nd half to make it look somewhat respectable.
The Huskers have not seen a defensive team like Kansas yet this year and they have some new faces who will be facing their toughest competition of their career. KU's Chalmers and Robinson play as solid D as any guards in the country and Nebraska lacks the scoring threat at that position. NU's Harley and Anderson are their best shooters but I think they will have trouble getting open looks. Nebraska's center Aleks Maric can be one of the best big men in the country when he is on...though he tends to struggle against bigger, more athletic big men, which he will face tonight. Nebraska does not have that deep of a bench especially with the bigs.
This is a better and more athletic Nebraska team than last year and has been playing really good on the defensive side of the ball but will have their hands full with KU. Nebraska's top defender Dagunduro (I think) will have to cover Brandon Rush and I think he will be able to keep him in check but that is about the only good match up for the Huskers.
Keys for Nebraska- stay in the game early and Maric has to stay out of foul trouble. They will lose the rebounding battle for sure but have to limit Kansas' 2nd chance opportunities.
Keys for Kansas- Get off to a great start and get the crowd out of it early. If they can fluster Nebraska's young guard play and turn it into easy buckets, it could be an easy game.
Nebraska's coach Doc Sadler has his kids playing really hard on both sides of the ball and they will fight til the end of every game. They trailed by 27 at halftime at Creighton and got it to single digits in the 2nd half.
As a Nebraska fan I would love for Nebraska to cover or win but do not think it will happen and I will pass on this game. My best bet to you is that Nebraska plays respectable enough to keep the line under 20 when we travel to Lawrence in two weeks and then absolutely load up on the Jayhawks then. GL to all and Go Huskers!

FYI, K-State beat Mason. George Mason is the better team but has not been putting away teams like they should. GL to you Japo.

I like Japo. Missouri was the best defense Kansas saw this year and they are not that good on defense. You have future pros Ellis, Adibi and Hall playing their final game on defense and 2 great corners in Flowers and Harris. Kansas will be ready and will play hard but really don't think their offense will click tonight.

Tech was down big last year at halftime and mos teams this bowl season down by 2 scores or more always made it a 1 score game.
Ill take Tech -5.

Getting blown out by this 6'6'' 160 lb Ropper kid is depressing. I could see South Florida's offense being contained but did not expect Oregon's best offensive day of the year.||confused.gif' border=0>

Good to finally see someone on Tennessee Tech. 2 days after Christmas and playing Tennessee Tech, the crowd will be pathetic. Tennessee Tech has played tough on the road, good position for them.
Ga Tech by 10-15.
