One basket in the final 3 seconds made this card go 3-1. Well done. |

The Raptors have covered everything lately, and covered their last 6 spreads by an average of 13 points. So why is Vegas only asking them to lay 8 points? This is the most bet on game in Vegas and yet the line isn't moving at all and in some places its getting smaller. These two teams have a point differential of 15 points, yet Vegas is giving you a freebie asking just to lay 8. You guys know you would still bet the Raptors tonight if the spread was 12. Also the total has dropped 2.5 points in a few hours when everyone is taking the over tonight. What sense does this make? Ill take the the two bets that no one wants and the ones Vegas would love to see win. Sixers +8 Under 205.5

The line is at -16 for tonight but -8 for tomorrow night. I dont know what to make of this information. Gasol and home court is worth 8 points? I think the trick being played is the Cavs will cover no problem tonight with very little action on them, then when every one takes the Cavs tomorrow with a much smaller line, the Grizz end up covering. |

^Why is OKC a tired team right now? They have been sleeping in their own beds everyday since Monday night. This is their 2nd game in 6 days. Thats an eternity of rest in the NBA, especially when you don't have to do any traveling in those 6 days. Im still leaning Boston though. Line movement isn't matching public action and I believe this line should be much bigger since Boston is missing their best player. And if my memory serves me right, OKC always under performs in these early Sunday afternoon games.

This line makes no sense, yet 70% of the public is taking Auburn and its one of the most bet on games of the day. Also the Auburn spread and ML is getting more attractive to bet all over Vegas. I've seen this trick plenty of times.
Ole Miss +4.5

^I'm seeing way more lopsided than that.
Im not sure what I'm missing here. The cheifs run the same exact offense as the eagles and have a better defense, especially the DBs. Line movement doesn't match the public actions or perception. Also big consensus favorites are terrible on SNF. I see this as an easy win for the road team so I'm taking the reverse spread. Cheifs -3.5 for +230.

I definitely got my money's worth of entertainment from this game. Thank goodness no time was left when they scored. Its a beautiful thing covering by an half point.

The only thing the public agrees on with this game is the over, yet the total has dropped 2 points in the last few. No action on this game but it appears the Under is a sure thing.

Ouch, I hope you got some good odds if youre laying 7.5 Quote Originally Posted by JUNIor33: easy game for the Spartans......MICHST The line is currently -6 all over Vegas. Tennessee covered a -4 spread by 6 points. UGA missed covering a +7 spread by 24 points, but Vegas decides to open this game at 3.5. Sure seems like Vegas is begging me to take Tennessee. Also I cant think of a better example for a look away game for Tennessee since they have to face 2 top 10 teams in the next 2 weeks.
Give me the team that Vegas knows no one will take. Georgia +3.5

If Vegas lines are set by public perception, why aren't you asking yourself why this game isn't a double digit spread? MSU is one of the most printed tickets so far of any team playing today and yet the line keeps going down all over Vegas. Most books have moved this line 1.5 points since it opened even though all of the tickets are being printed for MSU. It appears MSU will once again be without its defensive captain. That would worry me since they are facing an opponent that just passed for 500 yards. Pretty simple here: Vegas line movement doesn't match the public's actions or perception. And it appears the sharps got a hold of this one. Indiana +6.5

You guys really know enough about these teams to confidently bet them on a Thursday night?
-70% of the public bets Houston and the line drops all over town. That makes no sense. -80% of the public bets the over and the total goes down even after Vegas gives Houston their lowest total of the season. That makes no sense. I have not seen a single second of any of these 2 teams this season but the lines and their movement give everything away. A 28 point spread but only a game total of 50 is Vegas letting us all know this will be a low scoring and close game. I do not plan on betting this game but Vegas has basically said these two bets are locks tonight: UConn +28 UConn/Houston Under 50

^This line should already be around -7, but Vegas is giving away a free 4 points. The Lions spread of -3 has a payout of +100 at every Vegas book today. Everybody is already crushing the Lions' spread and ML and still Vegas is trying to get me to bet the Lions. Another game where Vegas' line movement doesn't match the public's actions.
I have no interest in betting on the Bears but their ML of +130 sure does appear to be free money.

Wow what a trap game. Vegas says the Buccs are going to win so it will be interesting to see how they pull this one off.
Some interesting things about this game that show this line makes zero sense: -As the books closed on Tuesday in Vegas, this game had the most tickets printed of any Sunday game, with over 90% of those tickets printed for the Broncos. -Through 3 weeks the Broncos are the 4th best team ATS, playing better than the spread by an average of 9 points -Through 3 weeks the Buccs are the 2nd worst team ATS, playing worse than the spread by an average of 8 points. -Last week the Broncos covered a +3 spread against an opponent perceived to be much better than the Buccs by 15 points on the road. Yet this week Vegas is only asking the public to lay 3 points against a defense that has given up 4 TDs in back to back games. -The Buccs were one of the most bet on teams last week in Vegas and were no where close to covering -4 vs the Rams. Vegas knows nobody wants the Buccs this week and still refuses to give the points the should be getting. Vegas loves tricking the public in the late afternoon games and it appears this will be another trick game where Vegas collects a lot of money. What do they know? Are they worried about a cold weather team playing in the Florida humidity? Worried about a young QB winning back to back road games? Whatever it is, it makes no sense that a team that has been phenomenal ATS in their first 3 games is only being asked to lay 3 points against the 2nd worst team ATS. Vegas is begging me to take the Broncos even though the money is pouring in on only their side. Easy pick this week. Buccs ML +140

For some odd reason the public is taking the Jags and Vegas keeps making the Jags ML more attractive to bet. Vegas line movement does not match the public's actions. I will take the better team and bet against the team that Vegas is begging me to take.
Ravens -2

Oh yea, about the back to back: The Titans are looking to do something that they haven't done in 3 years. The largest Titans' ML in Vegas is +105. In what universe does it make sense that you only get an even money payout for something that hasn't been done in 3 years?
