Lots of rugby on this weekend
i think the Maori beat Moana Pasifika, too many established connections in the Maori team for me.

Interesting round of Mitre 10.
Counties v Southland-Counties playing for pride, Southland playing for a likely semi. Southland have good defence and little offence (though Te Tamaki and Nicole are strong finishers with their sevens background) while Counties have a habit of fading in games. Tasman v Otago-hard to know who will turn up to play
Northland v Waikato-long bus journey for Waikato to Kaikohe this week, will they name a strong side for it, or rest players? They are likely to play Tasman in the semi either way
Wellington v Manawatu-Wellington should win big, big unders ref Pickerill calling this game though
Taranaki-Hawke’s Bay-will Hawke’s Bay test players? If so Taranaki might be the way to go

Having said that, I don't see England losing, they are by far the best team in this tournament, South Africa will keep it close so you are bang on with your play I. As for the 3rd place game, while All Blacks will surely win, I think there is some value in Wales +17. This is a huge letdown for them and I can't see them being fully motivated here. Hoping to catch a few more points before kickoff on Wales. The All Blacks will not lack for motivation at all. Stinging after a loss, and it's the final All Black game for Kieran Read, Ben Smith and Sonny-Bill Williams. They will want to send off their captain with a bang |

Extremely lucky if you were on plus, extremely unlucky if you were on minus. I still don't understand how the All Blacks scored nothing in 23 minutes

Yeah that Argentina game was ridiculous. 4 tries in 20 minutes, and then no more. Pretty awful.

Interestingly enough, Samoa found themselves in a similar position in the 2011 world cup. Namibia opened their tournament with a respectably defeat against Fiji, going down 25-49. Just like Russia in this world cup, Namibia had to back up again just four days later, against Samoa. Samoa won the game in convincing fashion 49-12, and were up 49-0 until the last 13 minutes of the game.
That was 8 years ago, sure, but it's an interesting example given the parallels. |

End of the day if you back “+” ... you may make good money with this World Cup.. Yeah, my strategy has been to back team tries lines rather than spreads with some games. For e.g. Italy, I took Italy over 5.5 tries in game. I won, but a lot of people lost on Italy -30.5 on that last Namibian try. Try total markets can be a good alternative instead of big spreads. |

No feeling atall tonite game.. but why totals is very low.. it’s 52.5 only...may go over if the weather is good.. I agree backing Samoan teams with big spreads is risky, but: -Russia are starting the same XV that started against Japan-only 4 days later. The Russian players looked very tired in the second half, not sure how well they'll back up just 4 days later -The humid weather should suit the Samoans I'm figuring out what my final bet will be on this game, but 4 day turnaround (and no changes to the team) is tough for the top teams, let alone Russia. |

I like Hawke's Bay, books are overcompensating for the two All Black additions (Josh Ioane and Liam Coltman) Otago are getting tonight (Hawke's Bay get Brad Weber from the All Blacks).
I had personally capped the line at -9.5 before the All Black announcement came out, and I don't believe the added difference from Otago's two All Blacks v Hawke's Bay's one All Black is worth 8 points. |

I think New Zealand under 20s cover -29.5 against Scotland |

Good luck with everything T2M, surprised you had a breaking point in the end but I wish you all the best. Thanks for all your tips over the years.

Argentina -21.5 against Uganda looks good with all the injuries Uganda has. They had to finish their last game with 6 men.
