Knicks better without Amare. Taking the Knicks up to 6.

I am around Eagles fans 24/7 and when they come up to me they say this is going to be a tough week i think we might lose this. They all know how good Atlanta is and they understand. One guy even said he wishes he had our QB playing for the Eagles. You obviously don't know what your talking about. People who live right in South Philly are saying its going to be a battle and they are die hard Eagles fans. |

I dont post too often but have been doing well in NFL this year so thought I would share my thoughts.
Bye weeks. Miami, Rams, and last night the Browns, all pulled upsets off the bye. While Pitt is favored here, i still think they take advantage of the rest and ROLL Cincy.
I almost never put games in before gameday but this is one i'll be on this AM...

I had HOU last night and woke up sick this morning.
How often does TEX only allow 2 runs?
I will not beon this game either way.

Nothing, nothing, nothing is better than watching the Lakers get blown out. I especially love Kobe talking shit after he hits a few jumpers than settling for jumpers that wouldnt go for the rest of the half!
Lebron gave this Celtic team a better shot and he played with guys that might get run out of my summer league...lol.

I live here in Philly and have pounded Jamie Moyer in just about every game he's started this year. He pitched a gem last time out but often at home will let up 3-4 runs early before he settles down.
Also, the Phils score like mad when he pitches.
I'd take the over.

I am going to continue to ride the Yanks here as I think they are hot and have their sight set on making a run before the All Star break.
Their bats should do enough against the Pads...

Never ever ever ever use that word...lol.
Take it from a guy who had the Lakers for the 1st half last night...lol

Unit, I was just breaking your balls really. A week or 2 ago when I first stated looking into the bases threads I commented that you probably do well because it seems you go against the "public" alot. I'm here for the greater good really and I notice that you know what yur talking about so , really, I meant nothing by it. I apologize if I came off wrong but I promise you I'm not one of "those guys". |

It wouldnt be a baseball game if Unit_G wasn't picking against the majority...lol.
I would be hard pressed to take anything besides LAA here. Than again, what do i know?

Take the Phillies. Best offense in baseball. And Kyle Loshe is not the answer to slowing them down. Also, Eaton has been decent lately.

Lost last night on Myers after saying in this thread that he was pitching well. Well, he proceed to go out and throw "BP" during the game!
Despite all that they still almost rallied.
In any case, Coletrain is nasty. And this isnt a bad price for him.
Go with the Phils again...

I agree Mannix. I did the same thing with Toronto last night.
Only thing that worries me is Olson looks like hes been solid...
But can the BoSox lose 2 in a row at home??
This might be the game of the day to get on...

You've got to remember the eastern conference is so much more physcial then the west and with those box europien players the lakers employe the CELTICS will roll to a 4 game sweep of the lakers.GOT the CELTS in hte series plus 155 for 20 units.take the points and $$$$$ line
I tend to agree with this point. Again, if you watched the games and have a clue you would have seen a Boston team that attacked the rim. The Lakers settled for jump shots in both games. That is not going to get you to the line. While I think LA is the best team in the West, the C's are the best in the league.
All that said I'd be shocked if the Lakers didnt win tonight.
And I too have the Celtics for the series... |

Boston dominated both games so far. Please do not anyone mistake that point just because Boston got bored at the end of the game. Anyone with a clue should get that.
With that said this spot shapes up nice for the Lakers. And since the line has RARELY come into play (meaning the favorite has won and covered or lost outright) I am leaning towards the Lakers.
I'll wait to read some more thoughts but that's my gut....

This Phils team is on a tear. I know, I live in Philly. The way they hit the ball is just ridiculous.
Myers woke up in his last start and I expect more of the same tonight against a Fish team heading in the opposite direction.
Play on the Phils

I'm liking your thinking Kong.
Think TOR will be a play...

It would definitely seem to make sense to play TOR here. McGowan has solid home numbers.
However, the Yanks and LAA both made plenty of sense yesterday....and we all see how i made out there...
Anyone else have some sound advice ?
