Yeah, I have to say this game isn't necessarily easy by any means, but.....
I did start off thinking Cal was the big play here and I do still think they should win the game in the end, but..... There is a lot of value on South Florida as my write-up would suggest. But so far this tournament has already been absolutely crazy! But I did go 5-1 ATS in NCAA BB yesterday. Lost on Lamar today so far though..... But here is my take on the game -- SOUTH FLORIDA BULLS (+3) Cal comes into this one having lost a lot of steam to close out their season, losing 3 of their L4 overall in Pac-12 play. Two of those losses came against tournament champion Colorado, with as 3rd loss coming at Stanford (a team which is also playing much better lately), so perhaps we shouldn't put too much stock in those losses. Another drawback to CAL here however, is the fact that the Golden Bears only managed a pathetic 1-4 ATS record in their L5 games (all with them as the listed favorite). They were also 2-2 on neutral courts so far this season with those two losses both coming by double-digits against Missouri and Colorado in a second round Pac-12 tournament game. South Florida on the other hand, was just kept on the outskirts of the bubble, despite having a productive season overall, as they were bounced in OT by Notre Dame in the second round of the Big East championship. This Bulls actually had a pretty good season on neutral courts as well, as although they only managed to break even with a 3-3 ML record in those 6 games away from home, 4 of those 6 games were decided by a mere 4 points or less, including all 3 of their losses in that situation. This Bulls team also lost in their last game as the underdog against Notre Dame, but they were a successful bet for their backers this season when getting points, going 5-1 ATS in their L6 when listed as the underdog. Take the SOUTH FLORIDA BULLS to COVER in tonight's meeting....... BOL!! |

Yeah, that was a weird game as far as Knight's coaching tactics were concerned. But he isn't exactly the same guy as his dad though either. But Lamar was just dead from the start. Vermont owned them all game......
That little voice told me to take Vermont due to all the hype that Lamar and Knight had been getting on TV coming into this one. But I suckered myself into Vermont anyway..... Ah well, let's go Gophers! |

There is a 12 seed upset every year!
There could be 2 this year I says..... Still have to be on the right ones though. And yes, a 12 seed over a 5 seed will always be considered a major upset. Ask the 40 million people who still take all 5 seeds this year..... LOL |

Are the Chicago Bulls really going to beat the Heat?!
Just don't see it either. Especially after the Heat dropped the game against the Magic last night as well. The travel will hurt the Heat and I hate that it is essentially a Pick em (very close anyway), but I am taking them tonight. Give me the Heat and Magic for this Wednesday night....... |

I am against you on the first two, but with you on Nevada!
As an underdog I will take them all night long against an Oral Roberts team that was extremely tough to beat at home against some lighter competition....... BOL tonight!! |

I like Lamar myself.....
And I love the fact that the public is jumping all over Vermont as well. This one will be close and although I hate to see Lamar as the favorite in any sense, I have to give them the edge. But both teams finished the season smoking hot, so it will be a battle throughout. But I do think Knight leads them to victory here tonight...... BOL!! |

There will be a few big upsets this year and the X-men wouldn't really be a surprise if they did make the Sweet 16 as they have made it 2 years in a row and return the most important guy in Holloway.
That said, they do have the potential to make it once again and should easily roll the Irish. Round 2 is a different story as this Duke team is severely underrated coming into this tournament. No one is talking about Duke and they have a team that can be lights out shooting the ball. That said, I think Duke will roll to the Elite 8 after beating out Xavier and UNLV in two tough games. My biggest shockers are an 11 seed and a 12 seed making 2 big upsets. There is always a 12 seed upset. Don't forget that...... Also, if you follow the L5 years of the tournament, you will see a clear indicator as to how the upsets will happen...... Research, research, research........ Then throw it all out the window and crumple your brackets..... LOL Best of luck to everybody this MARCH MADNESS!! |

But I do hate the fact that everyone appears to be on Winnipeg as well. That is usually never a good sign.....

Right? It just seems too easy.......
I guess we shall see soon enough, but this should be easy money for the Magic. Unless Howard is traded before tip-off...... LOL |

Howard and the Magic hold off the Heat last night in OT and now they are getting 7+ against the Spurs?! I don't care if it is in San Antonio. My money is definitely on..... ORLANDO MAGIC (+7.5) Best of luck to everybody tonight!! |

Let's see, how are we going to play the MARCH MADNESS action tonight?!
Went 5-1 ATS in the college hoops last night to kick it all off....... Here are my two write-ups for tonight's NCAA TOURNEY PLAY-IN GAMES...... LAMAR CARDINALS (-2) This team has been on fire ever since Pat Knight went on his now infamous post-game rant (much like Daddy used to do) and the boys from Lamar have responded by reeling off 6 straight victories since then. Lamar swept through the 3 games in their conference tournament to get into tonight's position and they have produced for their backers ATS on the season overall, despite not having many games ATS overall. The Cardinals were 5-1 ATS on the season overall, including a 2-1 ATS record when actually listed as the favorite. They were 3-0 ML in those 3 games, winning all 3 of those games by at least 7 or more (the ATS loss had them as -9 favorites against Northwestern State). They also were a perfect 3-0 on neutral courts for the season, although those 3 games just came in their conference tournament. Vermont also picked up a 3-game sweep to win their conference championship as well and the Catamounts too have been pretty successful ATS so far this season, as they posted a 3-1 ATS record in their 4 games with a listed spread this season. That includes a 1-0 ATS record as the underdog, which came in the championship game against Stony Brook, and they have also posted a 4-1 ML record in their 5 games this season played on a neutral court. Vermont is also 14-1 ML in their L15 overall, but they did just need 2 OT to outlast a dismal Hartford team in the second round of their conference tourney. This team may have run out of a little steam, while Lamar seems to have picked up some. Roll with the LAMAR CARDINALS in tonight's battle....... SOUTH FLORIDA BULLS (+3) Cal comes into this one having lost a lot of steam to close out their season, losing 3 of their L4 overall in Pac-12 play. Best of luck to everybody out there tonight!! I am going to absolutely DESTROY the BOOKIE once again!! |
