Ummm the Yankees weren't always stacked. They weren't stacked when they won some of the World Series'. The Yankees... 11 or 12 straight postseasons with Torre... O for 1 without. He does lack on the field fire but word is he is awesome behind closed doors. He goes to the Dodgers and gets them to the NLCS. Yes Manny was a big part but plain and simple Torre gets it done.

I think people have lost their mind entertaining this topic... Andruw Jones was playing in 1995 he's old already. He got fat and old so he couldn't hit. Texiera is having a tough time adjusting to New York like many stars who go there. This will not keep up he is a .300 hitter and a monster. Tex and Burnett were great signings for the Yanks... I can't believe someone tried comparing Mark Texiera of 2009 to Andruw Jones of 2008. Sigh...
P.S. This is coming from someone who doesn't like the Yankees so much

Rumor is Favre is staying retired... Honestly he would help that team so much. Everyone doesn't like that he keeps retiring and coming back. Sports need more players like Favre. The love for the game, the heart and determination all makes him a guy that I would want on my team. Last year he proved that when healthy he's still one of the best. He was playing with a torn bicep. If Favre does go to the Vikings which probably isn't happening anytime soon... the Vikings will be the team to beat in the NFC.

There is no trick line. This is a totally even game and that's why the line is at a virtual pick'em. Derek Fisher is out and the loss of a veteran leader with plenty of postseason experience hurts in a hostile enviornment. Rockets probably have a little advantage in this game but the Lakers have Kobe. The line is correct. So just pick'em boys

Sports are not fixed. Some cases it has been but it's not a regular thing. If you people ever played sports or watched sports as a fan you'd realize that the game is not about the line. Guarenteed most players dont even know the line. Stop looking at everything from a bettor's point of view. The lines are just good and u people just get maddd when you lose by a point or two. Change your perspective and you wont believe that the sports are fixed.

I don't want to sound like I don't know anything by not analyzing this out totally but this is the most sure statement i will make in my life. The Cavs will win because they have LeBron James. He is the best overall player in the league and has taken his game to a whole nother' level after the addition of a complementary player (Mo Williams) which is all he needed this whole time. King James, The Chosen One will not be stopped.
P.S. He hits every long range buzzer beater 3 pointer

So until Lebron wins a championship and get an MVP, it's KOBE hands down. I know that one of these days, Lebron will get his. But this conversation will stick with Kobe. This conversation is too early, there at different points in their career. It's too early to tell, Lebron is still 23 gonna be 24 at the end if the month. But too this person who posted this, LeBron is doing the same thing with the Cavs. He's playing the least number of minutes so far since they are blowing everybody out |

I don't think it could be Warner. Arizona is 7-5 in that division. I can't say Favre because there is someone else on his team that ranks higher than him right now, Thomas Jones. Peyton Manning shouldn't even be in discussion, he's having a terrible year for Peyton Manning and the Colts standards. My ranks 1-5 are....
1) Michael Turner- 1,208 yards in 12 games without a good 2nd back to carry some of the load. 13 rush TD's
2) Thomas Jones- 1,088 rush yards. 11 rush TD's... 2 receiving TD's. 4.7 ypc
3) Adrian Peterson- 1,311 rush yards. 9 rush TD's... A total workhorse. Only real offense for the 1st place Vikings
4) Brandon Jacobs- 185 rushes, 950 yards. 5.1 ypc. 12 rush TD's, for the 1st place 11-1 Giants who have a 3 man rushing attack.
5) Drew Brees- 3,870 yards passing, 24 pass TD's without really big name receiver. Brees is getting it done this year but his team isn't which is the reason he's #5 on this list.
