i love girls, kind of hate military (sorry girl and guys in the military, just personal beliefs), but i love football (something we can all agree on). have to agree with plax here (not on male bias). but the bucs have definite situational advantages here which negate some talent mismatches. 1 - anytime a team says 'this is our superbowl', when its not actually the super bowl, well, it dont take a genius. human beings are capable of a lot on planet earth, and motivation is always the catalyst 2 - london. remember giants/fins? big spread, giants great, dolphins suck. this mite actually keep new england focused knowing what happened to the giants last time in london. more likely it will help the bucs. the giants said after that game - we just wanted to get the fck out of there. expect lots of running on a sloppy field. i would lean to the under if i had to. |

If Hawaii is down big dont expect a huge comeback. that would be a miracle. boise gonna run the rock and keep scoring. Averys a stud. Hawaii wont be able to stop him. Boise 66 Hawaii 7

I was listening to call the coach show, and Coach person Dance said theyre gonna put in some new blitz packages and get some faster players in on 3rd down (if they get to 3rd down), to get more pressure. Wont matter cuz Boise QB been sacked like 4 times this year and 11 in 15 games or something. Coach person Dance also said theyre gonna try to play smash mouth to control the clock and slow the game down. Jake Heun new starting MLB is a big hitter but dont expect him to keep up with Boises playmakers.

Big line, i thought it would be 27-28. hawaii sucks. backup qb Moniz played better, but Idaho's defense blows. Second best receiver Bradley out (i think. he was carted off the field last week). The key to beating hawaii is running the football, they cannot stop the run to save their life, then hit big passing plays, which Idaho did the whole game. Hawaii defense is awful. Their O-Line sucks too. Moniz can run a little to keep drives alive, but he is a backup for a reason (actually 3rd or 4th string last year). if boise can not shit the bed and force some turnovers, they should win by 50.

Is there any way they dont completely smash BYU? Hall is a good QB. Ok. BYU at home. Ok.
What else???

Cant really argue too much with taking 3.5 - 4 points as a home dog on MN. Great weekend and good luck on your wager
You do realize Henne will have to throw the ball at some point during the game, and I dont think it will be pretty. I would be surprised if their WR's catch more than a few balls all night. Expect more dump offs, screens etc. Henne will be facing immense pressure and blitzes from all angles. Wasnt even that good in college not sure how he's gonna be a good pro. Stares down his receivers, wouldnt be surprised if he threw a few pics. Heard the turf is tasty. Hope he can hang on to that ball (not really cuz im taking the jets).

Jets played Hou, NE, Tenn, NO Mia played Atl, Indy, SD, Bills I'd say Jets have had the tougher schedule, imo. Bills? haha. San Diego? pure crap. most overrated team this century. lets see, NE beat ATL, and NE and Saints would kill any of those teams except Indy. Agree with vsnider34 - Bills had most of their DB's out that game i believe. There will be no crap secondary tonite! Big difference between 2nd and 3rd stringers and Darrell Revis and Lito Sheppard. Jets D if FIRE!!! I read an earlier post saying the Phins have a better D? Really? Really? C'mon are you watching football? If you were starting a team would anyone honestly pick the Dolphins D over the Jets D? Give me a fuckin break |

the real sucker bet was cincy vs cleveland last week. i knew this was a field goal game all the way, but down 14-0 early i thought cleveland was fucked.
i like to bet situations and shady lines, and would love to bet tenn this week, but just cant do it. sorry

mia, atl, tenn. you have big big balls
SF - one of the best teams in the league at home (or anywhere). Hill undefeated at home as a starter. atl needed gifts against mia and car to win. didnt get any vs ne and got killed.
tenn worst pass D combined with banged up secondary vs manning. they might control the clock and keep it tight, but what it theyre up by 3 in the 4th quarter? Manning down the field for the cover no doubt about it.
mia - you gonna trust Henne and vs jets D? he's gonna complete a couple passes to Revis if he doesnt fumble first. Sanchez on the road isnt always safe, but one team brings the wood on D and one team doesnt. Can you guess which one? jets in a blowout.
good luck regardless

The most Oakland is allowed to score by way of Universal Cosmic law is about 10. Tops. Thats with either a blown coverage deep ball, a kick or punt return, or some fluke fumble return. More realistically they put up 3, maybe 6 points.
Ok.
That said G-Men might not score a bunch, especially if Eli is out, and they run Jacobs all day, which i like for an under here, but with defensive scores, overall shittiness of raiders, etc., NY might cover the over by themselves...
Thoughts????

so what, we lost to detroit. Someone was going to lose to them eventually- we took way to much heat from tools like you
who look at things at black and white. They were due to win
So we almost lost to the bucs. We won the game and as far as I am concerned that is all that matters - A WIN IS A WIN
and if our final record is 10-6 no one is going to care what the scores were in any of those games unless we tie with 4 teams and we all have to break the tie by total points. But that is rare
the only ones that care about score are the gamblers
But I am not going to argue with a guy who plays with lizards
..And that avatar. Needs a ton of work my litle green friend...you should go find a picture of that gecko lizard and make that your new avatar-
hilarious! love it, i was laughing so hard. true, a win is a win, but would a GOOD team struggle to beat the rams and bucs? would a GOOD team lose to the lions? I just think the momentum of the home crowd and the desperation of Carolina, plus the focus, rest, and preparation of the last two weeks will be too much of an edge. The Skins are a sorry bunch (ooh that hurts). I just hope Delhomey dont mess it up, which he probably wont cuz theyll be running the ball down their throats. Deangelo and Smith blow up in this one. 27-10 Lizards

Haha! Carolina may be my only play on Sunday. Best play on the board imo. Saw the line on Monday, did ZERO research. Yes its that obvious. Golden rule of betting football - you do not want to bet against a team playing with more motivation, at home no less. Carolina - 0-3 off a bye at home.
But go ahead and bet on a team that lost to DETROIT, who couldnt beat anyone in their last 19 games, haha, almost lost to the RAMS, and almost lost to the BUCS (won those two by a combined 5 points i think).
But, this is football, and anything can happen.

Jets! Jets! Jets!
Looks like the easiest play on the board. Not sure how Mia scores, except for turnovers, which i expect the jets to have the advantage there. their D will FEAST! so easy it makes me nervous

well, ive been on Denver the last few weeks...and this is where i get off the train. if Buckhalters hurt that really hurts, one of the most underrated backs in the league for years. i think Denver can pressure Brady a little...
im staying away most likely...gl with your play

Just wait til Denver plays a real team like Dallas! There mustve been a million posts like that last week.
Haha Denver is a good team, had me laughing to the bank yesterday. None of this, they sucked last year, what did their run D do last year, blah blah blah. That was LAST YEAR.
Tennessee was good last year, blah blah blah.
Not sure about this game against the Pats...I think they can move the ball a little, I think they can pressure Brady a little...but will it be enough to win the game?
The Jets -1 has me per-fuckin-plexed. Rex Ryans D against waterboy Henne? Are you kidding me? Is it cuz of last weeks scores? Buffalo cant stop the run and plain suck. Someone talk me out of unloading.

Need one straight up loser for a pool.
Leaning St Louis, they will have a really tough time scoring this week. Hill undefeated as a starter at the Stick, Rams inept on offense, Niners top ten defense...
or should i go with Seattle on the road and hope Manning rolls these pussies up?
or Detroit at Chicago, which, believe it or not, might actually be a letdown game for detroit!
