There's been so much garbage in Fins threads lately. I wonder if it's time to create a Finster thread discussion, so we don't have to scroll through so much worthless conversation.

What's the point of posting your plays 10 minutes before the games start?

You'll win almost as much if you back him every game. He's got a good chance now that a good chunck of the favorites won't play. In my opinion, he still lacks the stamina to play a 5 setter. The most recent example was against Raonic in Wimby: couldn't finish him off, went to a 5th set and completely crumbled.

You don't wanna mess with Fog right now, he's in a good moment, but we all know that can change in a second. I would avoid the juice and look for handicaps: if Thiem wins this, most likely he does it comfortably. I'll gladly stay away from this one; perhaps a little bet live, after testing the waters.

Unless they're dogs, I don't bet on them.

Kecmanovic, definitely. Reminds me of his compatriot Djoker.
Solid BH and FH, great technique and good serve, considering his age. I've been follow him more closely.

The guys who make crap money. Not the top 10 players. And I agree with you: of course lower level events are fixed more often. And, obviously, you don't look into the very top of the ATP, but the guys who are involved in the qualifiers and in the first rounds: that is where it happens at the important tournaments. And keep this in mind: the 2 players don't need to be involved: there's so many things that can be manipulated other than the winner of the match - number of games, handicaps, you name it.... It doesn't seem to be that hard: a couple of unforced errors, nothing suspicious.

Nah, there's always been match fixing in top events too. This year's Wimby had a handful of matches investigated. The small tournaments move less money, so a fix is easier to spot.

And Zverev almost pulled a choke today too. Thankfully not. Never expected this fierce fight from Gas.

Nobody said he sucks.... We were just discussing some aspects of his game. Criticism and discussion regarding a player is important. I can come up here like in reddit to say Fed is the GOAT like any other thread.... What does that add to my tennis knowledge? Zero!! Nobody's hating. It's all about knowing the players' weaknesses and sttrengths going forward. |

Not mentioning his style of playing seems very tiresome and it will make it difficult for him to win important trophies consistently.

I was thinking about that the other day. Didn't make the Ferrer connection tho. He needs a slower surface to prepare his shots and his serve is not good enough. While guys like Zverev cash on their serve and rarely get broken against lesser opponents, Thiem just seems to struggle against players he should crush.
