No reason Miami should not cover 7 or 7.5 points. I don't care if Duke was on the road last time, the 'Canes beat Duke by 27 points not too long ago.
Take the 'Canes +7 (or +7.5 at some books)

Green Bay clinches a first round bye with a win? Hmm.. a motivated GB team versus a one dimensional Vikings team. Give me GB -3 for the LARGE.
31 - 17 GB

In the last 3 years there have been 95 games where the closing line favored the initial favorite (San Diego in this case) by 1.5 points less than the opening line. In these games, the team like initial underdog (Denver) did better against the spread, going 50-43-2 (53.8% ATS) and covering the spread by an average of 1.3 points. Add this to the fact that Peyton's back is against the wall and you have it DENVER +1 and leaning OVER |

Hello all.. I have been these posts in the forum for years now and have finally decided to start posting my picks. So without further ado, here are my 3 big plays for this weekend:
1) BEARS -6 at Jacksonville -- I got the Bengals last week at -2.5 and watched the line steadily drop until it was Bengals +1. I couldn't understand why seeing as the Bengals are a much better overall team than the Jags. Bengals won 27-10 at Jacksonville. To the same accord that the Bengals are much better than Jacksonville, the Chicago Bears are that much better than the Bengals and should cover the 6 point spread relatively easily. I hopped on the line at -5.5 Bears on Tuesday. I usually don't make bets so early in the week, but I couldn't resist this. 2) FALCONS -3 at Washington -- The Falcons, in my opinion, are the best team in football and have been since week 1. After seeing the first offensive series of their week 1 game against KC (yeah, I know its KC), I immediately went to my sportsbook and placed a futures wager on the Falcons to win the SB. These Atlanta Falcons are highly explosive on offense and have a pretty stout D. Everyone loves RGIII and what he has done for the Redskins as a whole, but they simply are not in the same class as Matt Ryan and the Falcons. Too much firepower for RGIII to remain within 3 points. 3) Miami (OH) vs. Cincinnati -- I went to Miami of Ohio and while I love my school, I know this rivalry well and Miami doesn't stand a chance. Cincinnati won 27-0 last year AT Miami. This year's Bearcat team is better than last year and are playing AT home. Def take Cincinnati -20.5 So, there you have it. I plan to post my big plays every week from now on. I hope these are helpful in your quest for the riches! LETS GET IT! |
