Mr. EC,
Was wondering how you decide which game to spotlight out of the, say, 4 or 5 games you post. Is it the one with the most variance from the implied odds? Not asking for trade secrets; just curious. Also, I sent you a friend request. Would appreciate it if you'd accept. Thanks, Pat |

Hi BCap,
Noticed you're on CIN tonight......just curious.....is that strictly a starter play or is it partly a play against a team following a no-hitter? Thanks, Pat |

The grease both days is tough, but between Dickey and Happ you'd think there'd be at least one win at home. Good luck, BP.

Wudl83,
Thanks for all your work here.....it's fun to play with. I just discovered sportsdatabase and the query possibilities are endless. One question I have would have to do with the umpire behind the plate. Some show remarkable tendencies to go over or under. Any way to work that into the system? Or maybe just a final check before entering the bet? Thanks again for sharing. Pat |

BCap,
Would you please explain what the exclamation points denote at the tail end of your April Dogs query? I'm just starting to give SDQL a whack and can't find the answer in the manual. Thanks. Pat |

It's been a great fade list.
Top five picks, in the first four weeks, went 4-15-1. Careful, tho, they're not always so bad. |

Promark,
I'm the farthest thing from a pro you'll find, but if I can save a half point here and a half point there, I want to. You'd be surprised how often you end up NOT getting hooked. Or, even better, covering when you wouldn't have otherwise. Pat |

Seriously Guys, thanks for all the responses.
We're jazzed to roadtrip down to Reno and will probably end up checking all these suggestions out. What could be better.......sittin' in a sportsbook watching the Sweet Sixteen, then Elite Eight......and when you get home, it's baseball season!! Pat |

We're driving down for the Sweet Sixteen games and I was wondering which casino book would be the one to head to?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Pat |

Scratchin' my head here, Irage
Aren't #1 and #6 darn near mutually exclusive? How often are you seeing picks? Thanks, Pat |

GIANFRANCO1114,
I can't get the spreadsheet to open up for some reason. I'd like to know if this is for the NIT or just the Big Dance? Thanks. |

Beaverfan,
Wanted to make a contribution, so here's something I noticed as I was noodling around on the FanMatch page. If you click on the dates just under the heading "FanMatch", you go backward or forward in time. Click back to Saturday, the 19th. In the prediction column, in the games he predicted a ML winner are in black.....where he missed the ML winner, they're red. Top 20 games are half black, half red. Now look at the very bottom of the page. The bottom 30 games, he only missed 4 ML winners. Seems to me a guy could seriously make the odds of hitting a ML parlay a whole lot better trolling for games on the bottom of the FanMatch page. I just did a cursory glance through Feb, but it looks pretty consistent. |
