The Tulane football team has played uninspired football during the entire season. Last Saturday was the last straw as Tulane just quit trying and was embarrassed in another rout. It is clear that this football team has given up. They don't believe in their coach, and you can see it by the way they don't hustle on the field. Tulane coach Bob Toledo's put his house up for sale a few weeks ago. It is pretty obvious why he did that. This entire program knows what is coming. The only question is will they make a change during the season or after the season is over.

If you let the tough losses carry over to the next week, then your gambling career will be a very short one. In this business, you can't hold a grudge and you need to evaluate each week with a good memory and also a bad memory. If you get emotional when gambling, you have lost half the battle. Good luck to all!!

Don't get fooled by Cal's excellent first half against Oregon. The Bears have a reputation for matching up well against spread offenses and poorly against pro style offenses. They gave the Ducks a big scare in their 2010 game also. Cal is also notorious for playing well in the first half of games and then fading in the end. Tedford is not good at making adjustments during the game. What you see in the first quarter is usually what you get for the entire game, with Tedford coached teams. USC's pro style offenses gives the Bears fits every year. the Trojans have owned Cal in the last few years and they seem to match up better against the Bears than any other Pac-12 team. Look for Teford to come out with a strong offensive game plan to keep the game close at the half. USC will dominate the second half with Tyler running the ball, and Lee cathcing passes. Woods will be more of a decoy in the second half. This game will be high scoring, and i really like the first half overs: Final Score: USC-38 CAL-31 |

Alabama looked very impressive pounding a good Arkansas team last week. The Tide had a balanced attack with 200 passing yards and 197 rushing yards. Alabama held the Razorbacks to just 226 total yards for the entire game. that was impressive. Florida hasn't really been tested in 2011. They have been favored by 34, 24, 17, and 10 points in the first four contests of the season. And they haven't gone up against anything close to the Alabama offense or defense. The Tide has held the Gators to just one touchdown in the last two games played between these two teams. The Tide has too much strength and athletic ability for the gators to handle. Look for the Tide to roll in this game.....

Navy has shown some improvement on the defensive side of the ball in 2011. They played well against South Carolina on the road, and their offense is starting to gel. They have two weeks to prepare for this revenge game against Air Force. So iexpect them to be sharp. The Midshipmen will be playing at home, and I expect Navy to win this game by 7-10 points. |

Im not sure who I am playing here. But I will say that I use to be in the anti LSU camp. I hated their offense. I made excuses about how they should have lost except for one or two big plays. But then the light turned on. LSU relies on their defense to win games. They rely on big special team plays and other big big plays during a game. LSU wins ugly sometimes, but they usually find a way to win. Don't get sucked in like I did.

I like Washington in this game. Cal is not a good road team, and Tedofrd is known for his meltdowns on the road. Washington really gave Nebraska a scare last Saturday. Look for the Huskies to get well this weekend against the Bears. Im betting on Washington.

Be careful when you bet this game. Over the last four weeks of practice, here is the breakup of who Clemson has been preparing for: Auburn 85%, Troy 15%, and Wofford 0%. Don't get tricked on this game just because Clemson was flat against Wofford. I really like the overs in this one.

Granny Holtz always says that a team improves the most between their first and second game. I believe TCU will be prepared to play Air Force. They face Air Force every year so there are no secrets to them about the AF offense. Look for the Horned Frogs to bounce back and win by 10 points. TCU is a 4 star play for me. |
