I don't even understand how GB could even send 11 players back out there. I would've sent 11 3rd string players with "F*CK YOU" foam fingers on to the field, and just straight blasted the kicker, and every official in site. The joke is on the NFL, and it is time for the managers and owners to take this into their own hands. All 32 teams should just not show up next week, and really stick it up Goodell's ass.

took he points, ULMON +8.5 and Under 70.5, I really hope this game doesn't blow wide open.

The tv announcers are stupid. I you get forced or "knocked" out of bounds, the clock doesn't stop. Since the rule change, you have to willingly run out of bounds to stop the clock.

No pass interference on that last play? LOL this game was a f*cking Gong Show. What a joke. I'll take the push though.

Wash St -8 should have been a lock. Especially when the line drops all week 3.5 points and then jumps 1.5 points within hours of game time. I've never seen so many bullshit penalties in my life. It seemed like all UNLV had to do was throw their hands up after every dropped ball and they got a call.
F*ck that dumb ass Deon Bucannon. He should be suspended for the rest of the season. |

The reason the line is so low on the Va Tech game more than likely has to do with Va Tech playing on the road. Also, bookmakers still have hopes for Pitt. Pitt actually has some very talented players, but unfortunately they have absolutely no identity as a team, and nobody is stepping up to claim a leadership role. We all saw in week 1 that Va Tech struggled against G Tech, and I think the line makers are seeing a struggle here. If the was in Hokie Land then they probably would have posted it around 19.5 or so. Still I look for the Hokies to cover big here, but historically Beamer has just been a coach who wins close games, and is terrible ATS.
4-9 ATS 2011-2012 with an overall 11-3 record (2 losses to Clemson), and pretty bad for years before that with the exception of 2010-2011. |

I love how the guy with 18 posts is trying to get his street creds up. I know I don't have much for posts, but I do a lot of thread reading, and I used to post under a different name. Whether Boom wins or loses, his threads have always been the first place I come to select my first games to look at. I can't say I always side with him, but his threads generate a lot of good discussion. After I look at the matchups, I always check Boom's thread for a handful of good looking games.
On a side note, almost any decent capper knows last season was one of the easiest seasons against the books. I personally know 3 bookies who took this year off due to 6 figure losses last season. Last year OK St, Stanford, and Arkansas covered weekly. So far after two weeks, this season seems to be shaping into a tough one. So get ready for it. My money is probably going to be laid against Pitt for the rest of the season LoL. I don't even know if they found their way back home after that loss in Cincy! |

Lay the points. After all Boise St. lost on offense, I doubt the 8 returning Spartan defenders will give up much to the Broncos.

UCF was 5-7ATS last season, and overall as a team they were a major let down last year. They finished 4th in the very weak East Division of CUSA. Playing on the road, against a team who has everything to prove, and nothing to lose this year after finishing 1-12 . . . . . . just smells like a dog day afternoon here.
Leaning Akron . . . . still have awhile before this game happens. Line could get over 24. |

I would like to know what Casino you work at so I can never go there. Also, if you would post your name that would be great so I can complain about you. To the OP. I recommend playing craps at the smaller casinos. Definitely more fun then the bigger joints. The dealers and floor aren't so serious, and everyone is having a blast. Most Harrah's properties only offer 3x4x5x odds. Casino Royale has 1 or 2 tables still that offer 100x odds. Plus they have an Outback Steakhouse to eat at too!. |

I like Ohio St., not because of defense so much though. I like the other side of the ball. One thing you will see with Urban Myer that you never saw with Tressel is running up the score. Urban Myer is a coach that could less about showing mercy to a team he's knows he'll beat. I can see Myer throwing ball deep into the 4th just to get the offense some game time reps with that spread system.
...... but yes! As always the OSU defense will be strong. I live in Columbus, hear the talk, work on campus, and see the players all time. This team is ready. |

I agree 100% with you. Their defense was solid last season, and they should be strong again if they have beefed up their secondary. Teddy B should have a good season too. He has some experience under his belt, and probably won't be throwing 12 picks this year.Last year he completed like 65%, threw for around 2100 yards. Bridgewater rushed for a handful of touchdowns too if I remember correctly. He should definitely be able to build on those numbers. The Cardinals finished the year strong, and I easily see them being a dominate team in the Big East this season. I took the Cards on a big play on the road at Rutgers last season. I got them like +2, and I think the line closed with them being a -1.5 favorite.

Some thoughts I should have mentioned this in my above post. Not to bash you or anything, but this figure is nowhere near close to realistic. I usually take about $15-20k on a trip when I travel. Granted, I am playing decent stakes poker, and usually staying in a nice room, but most of my room and food expenses are comped. If you are going to gamble for a living, and plan on making $100 a day you have to think logical. That is, in no way, shape, or form, going to be a "comfortable" living. Which is really what the "gambler's lifestyle" or "dream" is all about. Living lavish, with a nice house and car. Doing whatever whenever you want. Just think about your scenario for a second. Grinding it out 7 days a week to make roughly $36k a year at best. It would be exhausting, and eventually you would hate it (betting or playing poker) because you'll get tired of the f*cking low stakes grind. |

As a poker dealer, I get my fix of the game easily fulfilled, and my bankroll always has that extra padding. I would never consider quitting dealing to play for a living, but I love to travel to AC, LA, and Vegas to play for 7-10 days at a time and get a piece of that "lifestyle". Limit Hold'em games $20/40 to $40/80 is what I prefer to play. I also take occasional trips to nearby casinos where the lower stakes $2/5 NL action is very good. I keep very good track of my bankroll, recording wins and losses, and overhead expenses. I do very well playing, and feel like I could probably do it for a living, but I think overall, it would eventually take the enjoyment of the game away from me.
I have two friends who have successfully move to LA and Vegas to play for a living, and they love the lifestyle. The built their rolls on Stars though, so their bankrolls are obviously pretty big. One plays big limit games like $40/80 and up, the other is a $5/10NL player who also travels to Cancun to play online still. I would say to live this lifestyle (I don't consider it a dream), and be successful, you have to start way ahead. So to me $100k is pretty realistic, if you're grinding a game like $2/5NL or $10/20 Limit for your income. Those would be the lowest stakes you could potentially profit around $ $800-1500 a week in IMO. Just like in all gambling, you must be able to handle the swings too. Gambling for a living is like what this old guy told me one time when I asked if he wanted more chips. He looked at me and said, "Nope! Look here son .... sometimes you're the bug, and sometimes you're the windshield." |

Mirage is very good for the price. They have a very good selection to choose from, I think I only paid $20 give or take a few bucks plus the tip. I got sick at the The Orleans, and will never go back for that reason. IMO the best buffet is either the Rio, and if you like seafood pay the money and go to their all seafood buffet. The best quality of food I had was at the Wynn though. Food was absolutely delicious, and they offered a pretty exotic selection to choose from.

Plays 4/5/12 Cincinnati Reds -155 Cleveland Indians +105 Wow drama on opening day. I caught a tough break with the Tribe today. Masterson pitched lights out like I expected, Ricky Romero had a shitty day posting a 7.20 ERA. All the Jays backers know they got super lucky. Going into the top of the 9th the Tribe was p 4-1, and Chris Perez blew the save. In the bottom of the 12th inning the Indians had bases loaded with one out and Asdrubal Cabrera at the plate and could get nothing done. Sad to say that Indians lost in 16 inning 7-4. I ended up pushing on the day. Record ML 1-1 +0 O/U 0-0
