really OU not only had a "worse" defense but "MUCH worse." You mean the OU that completely shutdown TT, that whopped up on Texas? OU had a better line on BOTH sides of the ball, a better QB and better running backs. The only advantage Tex had at all was better seconardy, and arguabley better recievers. Tex cant whine about last year, if they had handled their business against TT, then their own conference wouldn't have screwed them. |

Here we go again,,,Bama -5 is the biggest trap play this bowl season....
in College Football
The best part is, everyone backing the horns in this thread is from texas. LOL.
You guys must be from the simpsons, cuz thats nothing but a homer call. The only real question is which beating will be worse this one or the cotton bowl of '91?46-3? Didn't texas tout themselves quite a bit before that one too? How'd that work out? Tide will roll, crush and trample. Colt McCoy runs for his life again, just like last year against OSU. Cody is going to eat him for breakfast. |

Not near as many injuries when you play cupcakes week in and week out. |

i had boston and figured it was money last at half time, hate to see a back-door, but it was in my favor this time.

I made the same call, but at this rate boston will pull starters late in the 4th and there will be a backdoor. I was hoping for a bigger lead earlier in the game.

samford moved to +1.5
Ark-LA is still +6 UCLA slid to -5.5 or -6 St. Johns is -1 UC Santa Barbera is still +3 cal poly slid to +14.5 Thats St Johns Play is probably gonna be a big one, based on the line movement. I might put more on that. I know this isn't your NBA thread, but i saw you took Orlando -5. You have balls, I'm scared of that game, both teams have made me a ton of money, but its too hard to call. I know boston studdered a little, but with their team healthy again they will be tough to beat. I think it will be the game of the year though, with both teams momentum in full swing this should be for the title right here. BOL in all your picks. |

the funny thing is people talk about how great the Big 12 is, their bowls haven't gone so well. Oklahoma state, texas tech get beat outright, texas limps by Ohio State and mizz squeaks by northwestern, none of which they covered. The only game the big 12 has covered was a slight upset by nebraska over clemson, clemson should have been a dog in that game to since they only came on strong at the end of the year and nebraska has been steady and decent all year. FL will rock oklahoma, the speed of the secondary will really hurt bradford as he isn't used to his recievers being covered. Oklahoma might have a slight size advantage upfront, but so did ohio state and fl put a hurting on them by just running around the player instead of through them. Bradford will get sacked 6+ times and will get scared and throw the ball away. He will get picked atleast 2 times in the last 3 quarters. The FL safties and corners will make a HUGE difference in this game. The only thing oklahoma really has an advantage with is that massive TE who will be an overmatch from pretty much any FL guy hoping to cover him. FL, top to bottom is the better team esspically with some of the
injuries oklahoma has faced. I predict, FL by 14.
