Well I'm not completely sure if that is what they are implying, but here is what they emailed to me and its other customers.
" Interactive Systems Incorporation (ISI) is informing you that
BetOnUSA.com is changing operating systems. Up until August 22, 2007, BetOnUSA.com was operating under ISI, which is licensed by the Directorate of Offshore Gaming in the jurisdiction of BetOnUSA.com, ISI have arranged for you through licensed operator www.sportsbetting.com to honor your customer account balance and allow you to continue to enjoy your gaming experience. "
And then if you go to their website this is what it says:
"We at BetOnUSA.com have decided that it is in the best interest of our players to re-launch with US focused software. We will exhaust every option available to us to make the account transfer process as seamless as possible and to return BetOnUSA.com to its roots as a US-based gaming community."
That last sentence is what really makes me think they are switching to operating out of US soil. Makes no sense though. You'd think they know its not legal in the US and not do this. Pretty confusing stuff. To be safe I am switching my funds over to the sportsbetting book so it can stay under the jurisdiction of Antigua and Barbuda. Besides, they even offer 1st 5 Innings lines, which betonusa does not. Absurd.
