#1 Posted: 7/27/2012 12:26:48 AM I know this is the wrong forum but there's no traffic in the gambling industry section.
a check over 2k bounced and now my bank account is negative. I'm going in the morning to talk to the bank, but when they ask where the check is from, wtf should I say?
I know others have dealt with bounced checks, appreciate any advice |

#4 Posted: 7/27/2012 12:31:52 AM this is what 5d said... wouldn't they be able to look up the check and realize it bounced w/out making me get verification? seems like b.s.
Britney: In this case, you would have to go to the bank and ask for a letter that states the problem, so that we can track it down, and see what happened, 2 months is a long time. Britney: you could also scan the actual check, with a stamp that says it bounced

#5 Posted: 7/27/2012 12:33:51 AM put some money in the account in order to bring it back to a positive balance, ask for your family assistance if you don't have any money. tell the bank to return the check; otherwise, they will keep on cashing the check for consecutive times (3). tell them you made a mistake.

#10 Posted: 7/27/2012 12:51:51 AM I haven't had any issues receiving funds from 5Dimes. I think it has more to do with the fact that you've waited 2 months to deposit your check? I've always used WU and even though the fees can add up, nothing is better than cash withdrawals next day.
GL and keep us posted. |

Wouldn't the Western Union or Moneygram option be a better cashout method? You get it within 24 hours and nothing will bounce since it is western union right? |

#13 Posted: 7/27/2012 12:56:28 AM agreed with lawson and vision
western union or money gram for next day cash in hand is 100% the way to go
don't have to deal with checks, or anything like that.
I have never had a problem with 5dimes payouts but always use western union or moneygram

#14 Posted: 7/27/2012 12:58:41 AM The only problem with WU and MG is it is VERY VERY EXPENSIVE. Those fees really add up over time. |

#15 Posted: 7/27/2012 1:00:45 AM 5dimes offers free withdrawals every 30 days... covering up to $40 bucks
if your not looking for a hit it and quit it... then 30 days for a free payout aint bad.
if you are looking for a quick bang, the fees can be expensive, so your bet better be worth it lol

#16 Posted: 7/27/2012 1:00:53 AM You will get your money. For sure. But you gotta jump through hoops since you waited too long. Go through WU next time.

#18 Posted: 7/27/2012 1:13:06 AM You can get one discounted per month (every 30 days up to 40 dollars in fees) as long as the withdrawal is requested in between 9am to 1pm Eastern on Monday. |

#19 Posted: 7/27/2012 1:16:43 AM Yeah one every 30 days, if you haven't had a payout in the last 30 days. Even if you paid fees on your last payout, if your next payout is within 30 days of that, they won't give you a free one. Not a big fan of it. |

the withdrawals on mondays with WU or MG are the way to go.
deposit via CC or DC is fine too but
depositing through WU and withdrawing through WU is the 100% lock.

#24 Posted: 7/27/2012 6:31:55 PM He is saying that he deposited it when he received it but was notified that it bounced 4 weeks later. This happens because his bank probably presented it a number of times trying to collect the funds.
I have had bounced checks from 5dimes and it will take a long time to actually get that cash in hand.
Then find yourself a different book. If you want to cash out anything more than $900 or so with them it is a nightmare. Heritage, GT Bets, and Bookmaker are who I would look at. |

#25 Posted: 7/28/2012 1:34:19 AM No way it took a check 4 weeks to process.Even checks from other countries take 5-7 biz days only. The entire f*cking world is electronic. There is way more to this story than we are getting. |
