They will say it's all phony and inlfated because it is impossible for them to give him any type of compliment.....
while I believe there will be a small adjustment coming later this year, you can't ignore the numbers of where it after the last clown left and where it is now.

Must admit that OBAMA has turned this economy around.
A record 17,000 stock market, WHAT ?
And a low of 6.1 % percent unemployment ! WHAT ?
and that's with 140,000 troops back home. What ?
Every American should be elated, even if they did not vote for him.
So we shall see now what the righties have to say.
I'm thinking that some will agree and say, yes he is doing a good job in light of what he inherited.
If not, the party of NO is in big trouble, because with the high technology of today, the average Joe knows what's going on.
I am not a "repulsican" but...
He has little to nothing to do with the stock market
Not to beat a dead horse but... The unemployment numbers are fabricated. It does not count the number of people who fell off the books. Technically I have been out of work for the past 5 years when I parted ways with my old company. Luckily I invested well, own a few rental properties and a small business that is now barely scraping by. I have been looking for a job on and off for the past year or two and rarely do I even get an interview. It is very very rough out there for those looking, I see it every day. I have no problem starting from the bottom and working my way up again, even at my age. Just looking for the opportunity which doesn't seem to be many out there.
Agreed, our troops are home from a place we never should have been. That whole area is in worse shape than it was before we invaded. But we are slowly trickling back in again. What is going to happen if the 500 or so troops that are back "on the ground" get attacked? I have no answers on how to handle that situation and no one else seems to either. The POTUS is in a lose lose situation here, whatever he does or doesn't do will not turn out well.
Let it run its course and mind our own business sounds like the best policy. It was a huge waste of resources and more importantly our soldiers lives the last 10 years, lets not make the same mistake twice.

Nut,.. I totally disagree with your stock market view. He has everything to do with the market. He appoints people. His business policies have a direct effect.
The unemployment numbers are not fabricated, not 288,000 jobs last month.
And his stance on the middle east is correct, that they need to provide their own troops. Saudi just send 30,000 troops to protect their own borders. Our 500 or even 1,000 military in Iraq are there to guide drones to protect the Baghdad airport.
As for your job hunt, there are millions more college grads every year looking for the best paying jobs, So you are competing with the best. The better paying jobs are coming back, but slowly.

As I expected for the righties here. They cannot bring themselves to admit that their own President is doing a decent job, even just admit the economy is better. But nope, the hatred is too deep for Obama.
I know this....It must be freaking killing them. It's a dam shame because it would help re-unite this country.

Don stop please !! Stop with the WH talking points ..
Look at th e reality ...The number of Americans 16 and older who did not participate in the labor force climbed to a record high of 92,120,000 in June, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
This means that there were 92,120,000 Americans 16 and older who not only did not have a job, but did not actively seek one in the last four weeks.
In December, April, May, and now June, the labor force participation rate has been 62.8 percent.
Before December, the last time the labor force participation rate sank as low as 62.8 percent was in February 1978, when it was also 62.8 percent. At that time, Jimmy Carter - ( the fmr. 1st now 2nd worse president) - was president.
nowli sten up Don fredo ,,,At no time during the presidencies of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton or George W. Bush, did such a small percentage of the civilian non-institutional population either hold a job or at least actively seek one.
Yeah Don ,keep telling yourself and this forum that ,under Obama Happy days are here again
Except the informed Americans can see through liberal propaganda and the know that is just another Lie...

Funny how none of the repubs here take into account where we started from when Obama took office & the few months after during that downward spiral..
Exactly which Liberal principles promote jobs that last?
Encouraging banks to look the other way and allow poor people to qualify for a home loan they can't afford- CHECK
Promote unionization that severely hampers efficiency and competitiveness with other companies both domestic and abroad- CHECK
Seek more tax responsibility from persons that have $ to become entrepreneurs and create new jobs.-CHECK
Seek legislation that makes starting and running a business more complex and expensive.-CHECK
Seek legislation that seeks more tax responsibility from people with $ making it more profitable to open a business elsewhere.-CHECK
Seek legislation that raises the minimum wage, which in turn makes goods and services more expensive which lessens the demand for such and adds further expense to a business owner and gets little value for the added expense. -CHECK

My first job when I got out of the Army was at a mall in the suburbs of New Orleans. At the time Ray Nagin was a respected businessman. He was at that mall shopping all the time. He was nice and impressionable with me and everyone he talked to.
Something happened when he was elected as mayor. Maybe he was just as shady in the private sector but he wasn't under public scrutiny. Louisiana politics is known as the New Jersey of the south. Maybe once a politician gets in the office it's like Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hyde.
The "Chocolate City" comment made all the whites (and other races) turn against him but that's not a crime and he was re-elected. I'm assuming the people that voted for him didn't see a problem with him saying "Chocolate City."
