Take a quick look at what conservatism has done 2008.
For 12 years repuslicans controlled congress, and no minimum wage increase, in fact no middle class wage increases for 30 years, resulting in the biggest collapse since the great depression.
Now we are crawling back trying to get our footing again, but the conservative party of NO has been putting road blocks on Obama for 5 years. They don't give a rats as about the working folks, trust me on that !

But you have no place to live until you get a job that's not even there because it's been blocked. GEEZ ..That's economics 101, survival 101.
Did you know that 7 of the wealthiest people in American have more wealth than 50 % of all Americans ?
Something is just not right, and some chumps in the middle class are STILL voting repulsican

Don you cannot even get basic facts correct. The Republicans did not control Congress recently for 12 years. They held both chambers for the final 6 years of Clinton's presidency (economy seemed to do pretty well with Rep in control and a Dem President that worked with them).
When Bush won in 2000, The Dems had the Senate for 2 years with the Republicans taking full control again for Bush's middle 4 years. The Dems then took total control of Congress for Bush's last 2 years (when the so called collapse occured) and Obama's first 2 years. Been split since.
I see how you also didn't mention that when the Dems had full control and could pass anything they wanted, they did nothing about the minimum wage. The Republicans couldn't stop them if they wanted to and the Dems did nothing about it.
Also for you to even imply that any economic collapse was due to the minimum wage not being raised is just another false claim. Prove it! I know you cannot so why do I even bother asking you to provide facts?

It takes both chambers plus the President to get something done. As much as the Republicans have resisted and blocked Dem proposals, the Dems have done the same thing to the Rep House bills that never even make it to the Senate floor. Both sides have said NO to the other side proposals. How many times have Reid and Obama said no chance on even negotiating with a Republican passed bill? Plenty!!
Obama and Reid do this all the time then turn around and blame Republicans for not compromising on the Dem ideas. Why the hell should they be the only ones to compromise? The Dems get away with it because they are better at politics and playing the victim card.

Look , I lived it. Housing dropped to half it's value in 2008. for the first time in 80 years. Who was in charge, ? your buddy GW
The fact of the matter is that repulsicans always vote against minimum wage, look that up !
Wages have been stagnant for 30 years, resulting in the middle class falling behind. Look that up !
Where are all the retired repulsican presidents ? Bill Clinton is traveling the globe helping people.
Jimmy Carter his building Habitat for Humanity.
G.W. Bush ? he is riding his mountain bike in Texas ! and painting by the numbers
Repulsicans are all about themselves, Greed
Wake up and stop listening to phony Faux news

So Don, you blame Bush for the housing collapse? Please explain why this was Bush's fault.
I must correct myself on post 13, there was a raise to the minimum wage in 2007. The Fair Minimum Wage Act passed in that year with 82 out of 198 Rep in the House voting for it while the Senate republicans voted in favor 44-3. So there goes your theory that Republicans always vote against the minimum wage.
I could also care less what Presidents do after they leave office it has no significance on my life. They are free to do as they wish, whatever makes them happy.
Oh and of course you cannot have a post without blaming something on Fox News. You really need to grow up.

When I say southern strategy, I don't mean a strategy to just get southern voters. I mean it's a strategy to get the white vote. The point of the strategy is to get 70 percent of the populations vote.
The side with the most votes wins. Republicans think if they can suppress the hispanic and black vote somehow that the southern strategy will work, again. What it did was give democrats race ammunition.
Hate to tell ya, but no one gives a flying fukk about the stupid benghazi clusterfukk.

Are you trying to imply that blacks and hispanics are incapable of getting an ID? I would think that any voter ID laws would impact the elderly and poor more than by a specific race (unless of course you include the illegals). Many elderly over 65 never renew their driver's license and thus might not have a state issued ID. Considering there are more elderly and poor whites than black or hispanics, one could argue that this affects white voters more than black.

I hate the word illegal. Republicans use it to dehumanize.
Everyone is capable of getting an ID, I would think? I think a very small amount of people would have an issue with getting an ID. This issue has nothing to do with ID's.
That's what the republicans want the topic to be about "publicly." Subconsciously republicans want to spark those deep seeded feelings. It's dog-whistle politics.

The majority of the elderly vote Republican, why would they want to supress that vote? Your theory doesn't add up on this one.
Anyone that is in this country illegally should be labeled an illegal at every turn. The term undocumented makes it sound like it was just a clerical error instead of the possible felony that it was (sorry Jeb Bush, you are wrong, there are millions of illegals in this country that are felons).
Anyway, we have strayed way off course on the original topic, my apologies.

Don, I think you got that figure in bold wrong ..want to post a citation to prove what you posted..
Contrary to the media fiction that the rich people in America are Republican...
The three richest men in America – Warren Buffett, Bill Gates and Larry Ellison – all are liberals.
