#51 Posted: 4/4/2012 12:53:02 AM Veteran Orlando -area criminal defense attorney Hal Uhrig today announced he's joining George Zimmerman's defense team...
He's a former police officer, former Florida assistant attorney general, former legal advisor to the Orange County Sheriff's Office and former assistant public defender...he has tried hundreds of cases...
He told WOFL-Channel 35 that he's confident that Zimmerman acted in self-defense ...Zimmerman passed a voice stress test, something similar to a lie detector test, that was administered by Sanford police... |

You don't find it a bit interesting that he changes his story only after considering the ramifications if the voice is not Trayvons?
Where is your logic and common sense?
The 13 year old boy witnessed the person on the bottom screaming for help and getting his behind handed to him. The only real way the smaller, younger Trayvon was going to get the upper hand on the bigger stronger Zimmerman is with the element of suprize as in a sucker punch to the nose...stunning and blinding him with blood it would then be easy to take him to the ground and smack his head into the sidewalk. Police report also spoke very clearly of grass on wet jacket...suggesting that he had been on the bottom...duh...it was raining.
The only reason Mary Cutcher said what she said is because she, like you couldn't imagine or comprehend the younger guy whipping the older, bigger guys behind. She heard the screaming too yet when asked, insisted it was that of a young boy. Zimmermans voice is not deep and probably less than Trayvons. Even higher when screaming.
Its very clear to me that you and money are not looking at this objectively based on wording you both use.
And....Trayvons girlfriend can only state...duh...what she has already said. They both asked each other a question and then she heard the scuffle. What in the hell else are you expecting her to be able to say being that the phone call was dropped at that point?
Please list in order the evidence you are counting on to back up your theory?
On the voice, I'll trust the science corroborated by at least 2 expert sources. Think either parent would say whatever to protect their son. On who approached or punched who, your saying that even though Trayvon is doing nothing other than going home with skittles & tea and is on the phone with his girl talking about this dude following him (saying he'll walk fast, not run & right after she said she heard T say "why are you following me" & Z say "what are you doing around here" before scufflin noises), you believe Z was going back to his suv & T confronted him out of the blue & then punched him? How does that make sense & why would he do that if Z is walking away & leaving?
All Z has is his marks on his head & whatever with his nose & a 13 yr old saying T was on top & beating him & there's even conflicting statements on that. Even if that's true, it doesn't come close to proving legal self defense even in FL. Question is, how did it start & where was Z and what was going on when he used deadly force. Even if he was on bottom, could have rolled him over & shot him while on top or when disengaged.

Why is that such a big deal that he called him a "person"?
I mean it is just a "faux pas" like calling a black person the "n-word"... Depends on context... amongst certain groups of people calling travon, obama, or any other african american that is 100% acceptable in their book

Trayvon was a hoodlum...or on his way to becoming a full fledged hoodlum and we both know it. Why would Zimmerman start a fight if he merely wanted to know what he was up to AND knew the cops were on the way?
That is a key fact. Trayvon had no idea the cops were coming. Did you ever consider that?
We can agree that the screaming didn't stop until after the shot. If Zimmerman had managed to roll him over, we can assume that it took all of his energy and probably would have stopped screaming momentarily while using the force to turn him over.
And there is no disputing the one screaming was on the bottom. That is a fact and not in dispute. Where did you fabricate...I mean hear that from?
Again. One party knew the cops would be there any minute and the other party had no clue. The party that knew the cops could arrive would probably try to keep things civil and the other has no reason in theory to do so. |

Hey assface, When was the last post where you actually added value to the discussion.
This is neither a wide stance cirlce jerk nor a male bonding opportunity so get going.
Cashin can't explain how Trayvons father said the voice wasn't his sons. Did you see how he carefully avoided that part of the issue?

Once again it doesn't matter if Z was headed to his car or not. He was never odered to do so for one. They did eventually end up confronting each other at some point. It doesn't matter if Zimmerman followed him and caught him at some point or if Trayvon decided to confront Zimmerman makes no difference.
What makes a difference is the person that decided to take it from a verbal confrontation to a physical one. All evidence points to Trayvon punching Zimmerman in the nose which stunned him and drops him to the ground and then Trayvon pounced on him and repeatedly banged his head on the sidewalk.
Grass and water on Zimmermans jacket, blood nose and back of his head. Ever been hit in the nose by a basketball or anything? If its a decent blow it stuns you and it takes a couple of seconds to recover.
That audio expert is an idiot to sample that fucked up, distorted audio tape. What could he have compared it too?
Did you read the police report that I posted. Zimmerman said very soon after the police arrived that he had been calling for help and was miffed at why nobody dared to come help him. How would he know that the witness was going to corroborate that if he was lying? Doesn't hold water for you man. |

You're graspin at straws now, lol. Did you ever consider that Z (who's much heavier & looks stronger) rolled him over & while on top with his gun out or not, that's when Martin started to yell for help & then Z shot him? Sounds very plausible to me...Z snapped cuz of being punched & gotten the better of initially after provoking it to start with. Done with this for now - looks like they expect him to be charged with the hiring of the new lawyer. We'll see how it goes - |

Oh ya...fer shur...all with a broken nose and blood all over his face.

This says everything we need to know about you. A black kid in a white neighborhood, wearing a hoodie, who commited pety theft, that smoked pot and liked rap music deserved it and should bow to his masters. One less black kid on the streets is a good thing in their eyes.

Did your mall cop buddy tell you that burglary amounts to petty theft? If he is willing to break into peoples houses, what then would he do if he broke into a house that is occupied at the time?
I didn't say he was a hoodlum for his hoodie, I judged his true charactor like Dr. King would want me to do. We don't know how much womens jewelery he had in his backpack.
You are not a very good detective because there is NOTHING to even say that is a white neighborhood. The family of the 13 year old boy walking his dog is not white. Trayvons Father's fiancee is not white. George Zimmerman not white.
I can see why you got this thing ALL wrong...you aren't a good detective at all.
Did your mall cop buddy tell you to ignore that he possibly threw down on a bus driver?

Why are you so sure of your own inevitable failure that you must project it onto others? THis was supposed to be the land where people were secure with their own sense of self. I choose not to play subordinate to anyone, mall cop, neighborhood watch, peace officer whatever, they can all go pound sand as far as i'm concerned

Pumkin, burglary in Florida is a felony. FYI. Are you the construction worker from the village people? The reason I ask is that you claim to be a lot of things. A construction worker, a cop, lawyer, and insurance salesman? Let me guess you were a navy man and you and your boyfriend dress like cops, bikers, and indians?
He was just a kid and any cop who would have caught him would have had a talk with him and tried to give the kid some guidance.
Zimmerman other the other hand was a women beater, who disobeyed authority and was a violent Jekyll and Hyde wannabe cop. Who fantasized about arresting people and killed a child for going to the store and buying a bag of skittles and ice tea and was killed on the sidewalk to his father’s girlfriends house.
It doesn't take a detective to figure out what your angle is.

I never claimed to work construction you idiot. Melting and casting aluminum isn't even close to construction. The fact that you can't seperate the two speaks volumes.
In the police academy I studied some criminal law.
Interesting that you never had the stones to tell us what you do. Is that perhaps because you are embarrassed that you rip movie tickets in half at Cinemark theaters?
Interesting that you chose to spend 1/5 your monthly income on wrestlemania once every two months.
I wonder how many conservatives purchase wrestlemania compared to liberals.
Zimmerman is no doubt somewhat of a coward. Usually the ones how would hit a woman are the ones who are afraid of a confrontation with a more equal combatant. Hence, my belief that he wouldn't have started a fight with Trayvon.
And we don't know how much jewelery that Trayvon burgled, so we don't know if a cop would have simply questioned him or gone further.
You ignore that he may have thrown down on a bus driver. Why.
Attacking my work history proves nothing, except that you can't debate the merits of the case in question. |

Attacking my work history proves nothing, except that you can't debate the merits of the case in question. Look bowlslit we have debated the case inside and out. You know where I stand and I can clearly see where you stand. The reason I get angry is that I am 100 percent certain that Zimmerman is a killer and when I see others defend a killer, I am going to get angry. I can’t help but feel for martins parents. I am glad to debate politics with everyone but a death of a kid is hard for me not to show emotion.
Wrestlemania is once a year. I have been in the restaurant business my entire life. My grandfather past it on to my father and my father passed it on to me. What martin did was what rebellious kids do. Zimmerman was a grown man who did violent things, scared co-workers, and was a crazed vigilante.
Zimmerman is a coward and cowards shoot people when they are losing a fight and have fantasies of over powering someone. Hence, my belief he called 911 and didn't intend to kill Martin. Zimmerman's fantasy of how he would stop an alleged criminal until the cops show up didn't go according to plan. Zimmerman said they always get away and he wasn't going to let that happen again. Not under his watch.
We are going in circles. This is 100 percent about race. If this were a white kid killed, republicans would be out with pitchforks.

You are so very certain of his guilt yet 46 previous calls to 911 ended up without shots fired or without violence.
You and others have jumped to a conclusion that your pride will not let you climb down from. |

He probably had not scared or provoked anyone the way he did Trayvon that nite & gotten into a fight which caused him to snap & kill him. Another plausible scenario is the after exchanging accusatory/angry words & Martin telling him he was going home (to his dad's fiance's house), Z pulled his gun on him to force him to wait for the cops being convinced he was up to no good...

Liberals with their liberal law enforcement structure, socialist, egalitarian beliefs.
Conservatives with their vigilantism, anarchistic, segregationist, christian sharia law beliefs.
The US needs to draw a line in the sand and separate the population.
West United States and East United States and have separate elections.
I think we are the most divided country in the world. There will NEVER be peace.

Except for thats not actually plausible because the girlfriend already heard the scuffling which caused the call to drop. Have you ever seen/used a flow chart? The scuffle happened right after the two questioned each other.
Do you see how far you have to reach just to make your story even somewhat believable? |

Not reaching at all except it is very doubtful Martin would have popped him at gunpoint. The girlfriend isn't sure what she heard after the last words - just some rustling noises & the line went dead. But unless she's lying, her account of the call totally disputes Z's statement & shows he's lying. His story just doesn't make sense & I'm sure
Though Z may well have been racist to a degree, I don't see this being a race/hate crime nearly as much as just a self-important, control freak of some type playing cop & looking for approval, who pursued & instigated a fight with an innocent unarmed kid, got more than he bargained for, then snapped & committed manslaughter. Alot of his neighbors probably think he's a bit "off" as well -

Alot of his neighbors probably think he's a bit "off" as well -
How do you snap and commit manslaughter? You either snap and commit murder or you defend yourself. |

Snapping and killing someone IS manslaughter because it lacks the requisite intent and premeditation.
Of course, given your vast experience/training in police work, investigations, firearms, psychology, criminal law and procedure, and ballistics, you already know this. |
