three things he likes, the fed, telling you what you should be doing in your private life (including your bedroom) and being close to sweaty dudes running around in tight shorts (sorry kapono) , particularly, the part about the sweaty dudes in tight shorts.

LOL wut? I am only partial to sweaty dudes running around in tight shorts if they are trying to throw an orange ball into a basket 10 feet high

Are you surprised ? They are all nut jobs. Santorum, Beck, Newt, Romney, Paul, Cain,...and the leader is Bachmann,
but at least paul is a real conservative. is he not? i don't think he belongs in that group. he may have some extreme ideas but he doesn't belong in that group.

Depends on your definition of conservative. Also depends on if you can ever nail the guy down to do more than generalize.
Paul plays the two step game pretty well, which makes sense..he is a multi-term politician.

what would you like to know Wall, I have all of his books, and some of his campaign literature, what would you like to know about. He has a lot of ideas, and does speak in broader terms, I think it is imperative to getting his message out.

He plays the game..I have an idea of what his core concepts are, but that does not translate to the masses. Meaning he knows how to hold onto the fringe voters, as they are the ones who are fervent about his alleged message. One only needs to look at who owns the guy (his PAC money) to see what direction he would go if elected (which wont happen).
Translation..drop the books rick, they mean nothing. He has millions of dollars of contributions from disgusting PAC money, he is now a slave to that and is no different than any other politician.
I love how some people actually think he is white as snow when he is absolutely no different than the others..they all have wacky views and flaws.

we all know that any politician at this level will be far from perfect. isn't he the most conservative of our options, and our recent options?
Again depends on your interpretation of conservative..in some aspects he "seems" conservative, but it depends on what you view as conservative. I am not concerned about conservative or liberal, those are just political terms..I am more concerned about the depth of the message, the consequences and costs of their message, the social implications etc..which is why I would never be able to vote for a guy like RP.

Everyone has a PAC Wall, for the time being it is a political necessity, if you want to get hung up on it enjoy not voting this year.
I do not think he is white as snow.
I think he is much different.
They are literally changing the way that precincts vote because of him. They barred him from speaking at CPAC this year.
He could change quite a bit within the Republican Party Wall it is too bad that your hatred for the man is blinding you. He is a revolutionary figure, whether you like it or not. He will probably not win Wall, but his Ideas (that are not clear enough for you) could change the world, and that is not a wide eyed exaggeration. The Tea Party and OWS were clear indications of this.

well everyone has his own interpretation of the terms conservative and liberal because the politicians have hijacked those terms for their campaigns. and again, no one is going to be able to avoid the pacs and the big money at that level and no one is going to be perfect, or close to it. to significantly oversimplfy, my definition of conservative is a government as small as possible and streamlining spending to eliminate as much waste as possible. is ron paul the best i can do?

The TP and OWS were unorganized people being mad at the establishment. Without direction and organization and depth they are pretty much useless and a waste of time. Now if it makes you feel better standing in front of someones office, feel free to do so. I dont think it accomplishes much of anything..and the net "change" of the thousands of hours of wasted time and money are confirmation of that reality.
RP is not a revolutionary, he is a 10 year politician who has struck a cord with people unhappy with our system..he does not have comprehensive answers or solutions, he is a generalist..he likes to have support by appearing to appease those angry with the establishment.
Once you actually crack the nut and see what is lacking inside I have no idea how anyone would support a candidate who wants to make radical decisions without any legitimate, comprehensive evaluation of their actions. It makes absolutely no sense.
His ideas are generalized, aimless finger pointing void of any improvements..

See that is where RP loses me, well one time of many that he loses me.
Cutting government without improving it is merely a shell game..so his "turn it over to the states" sham is not cutting government or improving anything..it is a rouse, it is a hoax. Unless you can show me that the state will take what the feds do and do it better and save money and IMPROVE things, its just a political game he is playing.
His ideas are void of detail, no analysis of the cost or net loss to society, which is why I call him Chainsaw Al's relative..cutting to cut without the analysis is absurd and will cost more in the short and long term.

Worked in Egypt, Libya, Tunis, etc. Why not America, all they have to do is start shooting and we win.
This Government is a stinking rotted corpse of it's former self. I see nobody that could change the situation more than Ron Paul, Just acknowledgement the Constitution would be a great start. Ending wars and aid to countries that are unnecessary. Focusing on domestic prosperity instead of outsourcing our prosperity elsewhere. Strengthening our sovereignty instead of giving it to the UN and World Bank.
These are all steps in the right direction. I do not know what the man plans on having for lunch next Sunday, but I know that his ideas are nothing short of revolutionary when you take into account the status quo that we have seen for 50-75 years.
Forget this election, who in HISTORY has ever campaigned on tearing down the machine, and restoring constitutional liberty.

That's the same ole right wing rhetoric that I've heard for 32 years. Ron Paul included... Cut spending, smaller government. Yet, every time they win, nothing happens, if fact it gets worse.

Easpecially when you consider the wars, nation building & MIC/defense contractors buildup. Not to mention the needless loss of life & the ones maimed physically and/or psychologically & what that does to their families & loved ones. Has a far greater & further reaching impact than most realize to the spirit of the country.
