Love to start off a big day of partying by listening to Sweet Home Alabama followed by Big Ole Jet Airliner.

Like Kid Rock at the gym.

Make that the second vote for "friggin Hostile" - Pantera. Best song to ever listen to if you're about to give someone the big F-U.

Also some good ones below. . .  I basically picked the song for the best example, but these are basically the bands I listen to in particular when I want to "get psyched":

"Forever Stronger than All" - Pantera - basically, the whole Far Beyond Driven album was the best album for this I've ever heard.  If that doesn't get you moving, you don't have a pulse

"Vietnow" - Rage Against the Machine - another band that got your behind in gear

"Fuel" - Metallica - BY FAR the best Metallica song since the early 90's.  Before that, they had some great stuff, but I think most people feel the same way.

"Jerk-Off" - Tool - I love the raw anger with this track.  For the most part though, this isn't a "get's you psyched" band, but they have some good tracks that will do that purpose.

"People=garbage" - Slipknot - The song title should tell you enough

If I'm just chilling:
"Coma White" - Marilyn Manson - Say what you will about him personally, but as an artist the guy makes some really good stuff

"No Quarter" - Tool - Off the Salival box set album, and a cover from Led Zepplin.  I garbage you not, it's better than the Zep version by far.  This band is the best for build ups/come downs out there.

"Drown" - Smashing Pumpkins - just good stuff.  No one else anywhere comes close to sounding like them. Can be annoying to listen to sometimes though, so it's not always in the rotation.

"Fall to Pieces" - Velvet Revolver - the best things about G&R and Stone Temple Pilots get together and make a great rock band.  Great stuff to listen to.

"Hydroponic" - 311 - How can you not chill to this band?

That's just a few things, I figure that's enough.

Mentioning Led Zeppelin almost seems like I posted Pat Boone or something next to some of the guys posted above. LOL

Some more good stuff I didn't mention before

"Hedup" - Deftones - this song defines "get psyched" from start to finish

"Same Solution" - Nothingface - best hard rock band no one has ever heard of, part 1

"Pushing the Envelope" - American Head Charge - best hard rock band no one has ever heard of, part 2

"Rumble Fish" - Sevendust - this song reminds me of college, cause that's when it came out and I'd listen to it before I'd go to a class I couldn't stand

"God Save Us/If you still Hate Me" - Ill Nino - This is actually two songs, but they are 1-2 on the "Revolution" disc, and mesh so well together, they should be one.  First listen to these two songs and I was a fan.

Damn, I could go on all day. . .

No problem bro. . .  The constant Phillycapper references never get old either. . .  at least for me. . . .

Hope you enjoy
