#787 Posted: 10/19/2012 8:44:36 PM Honestly though is there a more awkward baseball player then Hunter Pence? The last thing he looks like he would do is play baseball. |

Been there done that. My son is 2 and sometimes he won't lay down for my wife and I have to go up to get him down. There was one point when he was pretty bad and we just had to play it tough. She hated it and so did I but at the end of the day it works. He would cry for 10 minutes and I would go up and lay him back down and sometimes this would be quite the fight. Now he may cry for a minute or 2 but he just wants you to go up and say good night again. He also thinks he can bring toys, books, food or drink to bed with him on some nights. This is when he usually acts up but he gets over it. Usually tell him he can keep it on his dresser for the morning or he has to keep it down stairs. There are good nights and bad nights but the bad ones look to be behind us now. |

#795 Posted: 10/19/2012 11:28:29 PM Also we use "prizes" and this works pretty well too. When he would go to bed like a big boy we would give him fruit snacks or cookies something the next day around lunch time and remind him he got it because he went to bed like a good boy.
My daughter is 4 and she went through a good 2-3 month stretch of getting out of bed after we put her down. Then she started getting up in the middle of the night with her pillow and blanket and lay it down next to our bed and sleepthere for the night.
We ended up giving her money for the ice cream truck every time she stayed in bed the whole night and pretty much drove that into her head. Now of she gets out of bed she wakes us up to put her back into bed and she never gets out of bed after we just lay her down. Even if it's just a couple pennies they think it's a million bucks as it goes into their piggy banks. |

#796 Posted: 10/20/2012 8:40:36 AM And for the game no problem . Lance Lynn just doesnt have the balls or the experience to be pitching in these games yet. +140 was a steal in a game where i thought a pick'em was just about right. Yes the Cards pretty much killed lefties all year but you also have to take a look at what type of lefties those were. In betting theres not much more of a better feeling then hitting a nice dog for a good chunk of money. Im sure hitting a parlay is awesome but dont play those. |

#797 Posted: 10/20/2012 9:41:28 AM College Football
Season 12-11
LSU -3.5
South Carolina +3.5
BYU +13
Tennessee +20
West Virginia -3 (going against K-State )
Thats what i like for the day. Have to narrow it down. Only definite play is LSU. Possible big play (5-1) |

#799 Posted: 10/20/2012 11:52:30 AM also like South Carolina, Cal and K-State.. still looking at all the games though..
as far as the kid stuff goes, we tried alot of things and he's just a maniac and a tough kid to deal with.. some kids are just like this, he fights us with everything. he goes right to sleep for me when i take him up but he gives my girl garbage, its amazing that at 2 years old they know what they can get away with with each parent. |
