this system is not mine i saw it in another forum and is going great so far

NBA ROAD SYSTEM .... HALVES/ATS ....2010 -11

This will be my 8th year with the nba road system ... halves/ats. The record for the previous 7 seasons .....734 series wins and 6 losses.

2009-10......125 series wins and 1 loss
2008- 09 ... 127 series wins and 1 loss
2007- 08 ... 90 series wins and 2 losses
2006- 07... 83 series wins and 1 loss
2005- 06 ... 108 series wins and 1 loss
2004- 05 ... 99 series wins and 0 loss
2003- 04 ... 102 series wins and 0 loss

Review of the system: We are betting that a road team can not cover every half of the last 3 games of a road trip and you must commit 150 to 200 units and be willing to put up nearly half on any one play and if you are not willing to risk it then forget it.

I have mentioned several times in the past that this type of wagering is not for everyone and you need the right mindset to do this. I have said in jest that you do not have to be insane to do this but it could help!!!
NBA ROAD SYSTEM .... HALVES / ATS
(EXPLANATION REVISTED FOR 2010 - 11)

THE PLAN: The idea of the nba road system (halves/ats) is to play against a road team that is out of its comfort zone and with the fatigue factor to consider, so we play up to the last 6 halves of a 3 or more games road trip. Stop the series when a cover is made by the home team. Find your best line for the first half and if the first half loses bet at half-time for the 2nd half.Betting progression: To win one unit... double bet plus juice until it covers. See below for more details.

RULES FOR THE ROAD SYSTEM WITH HALVES (ATS)

1. Bet against the road team (ats) on a road trip of three or more games.
2. Play up to the LAST 3 games of a road series until a cover is made. Of course on a 3 game road trip it would all 3 games.
3. Find your best line for the first half and if it does not cover place your bet at half-time for the second half for the second play of the series. If there is still a no cover after two plays, your third play would be the first half of the second game of the series and etc.
4.Betting progression: the goal is to win one unit. (see below for more details)
5. Any series that starts before the christmas break must conclude by dec. 22 or it is a no play.
6. Series games must be 3 games or less between games or the series is a no play.
7. NO PLAYS THE FIRST 10 DAYS OF THE SEASON.
8. Optional: If a home team is favored by 5 points or more for the first half of game one, the series is eliminated.
9. The main problem with this system: You must be available to make half-time wagers.

* 6 game series ... start with the 4th game of the series
* 5 game series ... start with the 3rd game of the series
* 4 game series ... start with the 2nd game of the series
* 3 game series ... start with the 1st game of the series

BETTING PROGRESSION TO WIN ONE UNIT (based on -110)

First play .......... risk 1.1 to win 1.0
Second play .... risk 2.3 to win 2.1
Third play ......... risk 4.85 to win 4.41
Fourth play ...... risk 10.2 to win 9.26
Fifth play .......... risk 21.4 to win 19.46
Sixth play ......... ????????

EXAMPLE SERIES: ATL @ LAC, GS, PHO

1st play: atl @ lac (1st half) risk 1.1 to win 1.0 ........ results - loss
2nd play: atl @ lac (2nd half) risk 2.3 to win 2.1 ...... results - loss
3rd play: atl @ gs (1st half) risk 4.85 to win 4.41 .... results - win

The series ends with a cover on the 3rd play for 1 unit won.

NBA ROAD SYSTEM UPDATE THRU 11/30
HALVES / ATS / 2010-11
SERIES RECORD 23 - 0
PENDING: 0
TOTAL UNITS +23

SUMMARY: STD PROGRESSION

2ND PLAY OF SERIES.........4
3RD PLAY OF SERIES.........2
4TH PLAY OF SERIES.........1
5TH PLAY OF SERIES.........0
6TH PLAY OF SERIES.........0
LOSS..............................0

*includes optional plays (6 - 0)

COMMENTS: FOLKS I BELIEVE THAT NOV DID OK!!! 16 OUT OF 23 COVERED ON THE FIRST PLAY FOR 70% AND 11 OF THE LAST 13 SERIES COVERED ON THE FIRST PLAY FOR 85%!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST MONTHS OVER THE LAST 8 YEARS!!! IF THIS WOULD CONTINUE... I SAY HELL WITH THE BETTING PROGRESSION!!!

REMEMBER.... THE GOAL IS TO COVER 1 OF 6 PLAYS REGARDLESS OF WHEN IT HAPPENS AND IT IS NOTHING WHEN A SERIES IS COVERED ON THE 3RD OR 4TH PLAY. MY CONCERN STARTS WITH THE 5TH PLAY.

thanks for posting this system, i like the concept and the results speak for themselves.
i'm suprised it hasn't had more interest shown since you first posted.
the only drawback, like you stated is having to be paying attention and able to post the 2nd half pick if necessary.  i'm going to do my best to follow along.
i'm also wondering if there is a better money management system to further capitalize on the results.

may the profits be ours

Erb, a series loss will cost you 83.7 units. Throw that into the equation and you have two years where this system lost money. The Martingale progression is going to kill this system. Over the last four years you made a total of 6.5 units. IMO a waste of a lot of time. You know I got your back, buddy.

First play .......... risk 1.1 to win 1.0
Second play .... risk 2.3 to win 2.1
Third play ......... risk 4.85 to win 4.41
Fourth play ...... risk 10.2 to win 9.26
Fifth play .......... risk 21.4 to win 19.46
Sixth play ......... ????????

That sixth play is going to cost you 43.8 units. You lose that one for the series loss and your total loss for the series is 83.7 units, a ball-breaker.

one thing  i said is not mine,, its TONY1 syst,, from antother forum. and what im doing im doing a parlay instead . like today i had boston -4 over ,, boston -4 under, just like we did in  ncaa kkirby99, november was pretty good The first play has covered 14 of 21 series for 66% and the first game of the series has covered 18 of 21 for 85%.so i just place the systems, if anybody wants to tail it.so i hope to be up to 60%

right the dreaded 6th game....kirby can you recommend a money management system to make this profitable? or at least give us a better chance to come out on top.  it's pretty sad if these kind of results can't make us some dough

gotta love sports investing!

Erb, if I'm reading this right, you're placing parlays with Boston-4 as one part of both your parlays? If you are then you're giving up more juice to the bookies. Better to bet Boston straight 200 to win 180. What you're doing is basically betting Boston 200 to win 160. The reason that you've been doing OK so far is that you have a high percentage of 1st and 2nd bet winners so far. This IMO is not going to work out over the long term. This is nothing like the NCAA football parlays we were doing. We did not have the same team as part of two different parlays. Be careful with this. This is going to blow up I'm afraid. Just want you to have $$$ for next September when football starts up again.

oc, the only way I would do this is with Labby lines but even then a 5-game losing streak is going to get you in pretty deep. If these plays were to have a high % of first and second game winners as has been the case in November from what I can tell, all is good. But I have seen these halftime bets go deep into 4 and 5 game streaks and then you;ve got problems. Best way to do this is just use Labby lines and play a team for only maybe 3 halves and then let them go. If the high % wins for bets 1 and 2 continue then you should make some good coin using Labby.

thanks kkirby99, i am playing very small, nothing to worry, just to have something to bet ,before some syst comes up. im just plaYing 1-2 games, just posting how the syst is going.and yes going good so far with the parlay but one bet is not even 20% of what i bet in ncaa.so im betting like 20 dlls a game just to have an excuse to get my 8 or 12 pack of tecate LOL. im doing some research of nba i know something is going to come up. and like allways thanks man

This is exactly what I was consideringl but I've decided not do this system, it's too much of a pain to be worried about getting the 2nd half bets in.

Thanks for your thoughts

I have been playing this the past 2 years. It is the best system out there. Bet small for in case it goes to a 5th or 6th.
It is off to a great start this year especially hitting 88% in the first series. I already placed my bet for Ut @ Mil....good luck to all

what do you suggest as a starting bankroll if 1 unit = $50?

2009-10......125 series wins and 1 loss
2008- 09 ... 127 series wins and 1 loss
2007- 08 ... 90 series wins and 2 losses
2006- 07... 83 series wins and 1 loss
2005- 06 ... 108 series wins and 1 loss
2004- 05 ... 99 series wins and 0 loss
2003- 04 ... 102 series wins and 0 loss

Those numbers look great, but with any "Chase" if you break it down, its not as good as it appears.

1 loss = 84.8 units lost (2 out of 7 years it did not profit)

224 units gained in 7 years = 32 units gained per year.

So if the system would have a meltdown and lose 4 series = that would put a guy almost at the breakeven point after 8 years of playing this pressure cooker of a system (during 5 and 6).

Just sayin those numbers look so so good, but there not all that cracked up when you break it down.
