Tigers all the way. Betting the ML and the -1.5. Not sure about the O/U, Phil Hughes is the wild card in that equation. Not to mention Valverde and the Tigers pen. Could be like a 6-3 score or something of that score. Probably will just stick to a side.

Oh and I don't think Verlander's going to get burned by Raul freakin' Ibanez. The yankees have needed magic to stay in games last series and this one....they're in deep trouble.

I think the bullpens decide this game. Phil Hughes will match up just fine against Verlander. I would stay away from the over on this one.

the yankees got to verlander earlier in the year but they can't hit their way out of a wet paper bag now (except raul). phil hughes gives up home runs like it's his job, and he's on the road... weighing the unlikelihood that verlander gets lit (and by "lit," i mean 3 or 4 ER... a standard day for hughes), i say SPREAD 'EM! tigers RL

I don't bet baseball much, too damn much uncertainty. But damn, I'm hitting detroit RL and ML for my limit bet.

Reasons

1)Verlander strong at home Hughes weak on the road.

2)Verlander is a freak, almost no other pitcher is as strong on pitch 130 as he is in the first inning. Meaning we will see Detroit relief staff only it it is a blowout

3)Hughes got rocked in September, Verlander got stronger

4)Yankee hitting is in a very serious slump

5)Odds not too bad because of all the homer yankee betters

Wow. Way too much love for Detroit and the under in here. I'm not backing the Yankees but I will be taking the over. Verlander is man but other than the Oakland series he has been very hittable in the post season with an era over 4 for his career. These Bronx bombers have to start hitting sometime...hopefully for me that time is tonight.

Detroit looks too easy for a close or blow-out win and in sports betting the harder the bettor so we all keep our-selves grinding out whatever.....4-3 tonight 3-3 with Tigers managing relief core in doubt crapping the tie game once again to make these games more interesting......not saying the NYY wins just saying this is not entirely out of the question. onto the next game Yankees won't want to win unless they win this one......

Light play on Tigers ML, -180 at the book closest to me. Hope to see Kid Rock somehow involved in the festivities around Comerica Park. Would like to be at the game or at Magic Stick in Detroit. The D should be a good viewing spot in Las Vegas.
