Liking the hometown tonight! The bench has stepped up with Rondo being out. They gonna show the great Kobe an company what team is still kicking and fighting just when others thought their future season was finished

LA LAKERS (23-26) AT BOSTON (25-23)

The first game of the season. My analysis is based on line movement. Talking over / under:

OPENING LINE

LAL 196                  194   193.5   (current line)

BOS -2.5                 -2    -1.5      (current line)

Check the lines of the last 10 games between the two and in any case there was a line of 196 as of today. The average points of the last 10 games between them is 180 (ppg).

LAST 16    LAST 12     LAST 8    LAST 4

195            193            195          194

Indicate averages and trend under the perception of people moving down the line, plus most of the games on Thursday nights this season have been under. In the last 10 games for Boston this season is no line that reaches 196 and the case of Los Angeles if lines were high but not in all cases over. My prediction is OVER.

PICK: OVER 194

Would appear to be two teams going in different directions. Lakers losing games on the road, and losing players to injuries. Celtics winning despite Rondo gone, with a strong contribution from the bench, and staying alive after being written off. This game in the Garden, where the homers should feed off the crowd. Will Kobie step up and carry the Lakeshow? I'll bet he doesn't.

Ypflem,

You have been cash money over the last seven days, but your radar was fogged last night going 1 – 2…  Rooting for you to get back on track…

With that said, I’m with you here…  Way too many variables…  Pass…
