Vikings play better at home and this is the first home game also.  My only concern is Weeden will be out so Campbell might bring element of surprise. Also brown has improved their defense.  Still, Vikings home field advantage and will avoid 0-3.

Vikings -5

MINI SHOULD WIN LAST GAME. PONDER IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO START.

No Richardson or Weeden. Ha, I took it at -6 in case they pull it off the board. Never any locks- just think this has good value. Vikings are a better team than 0-2. GL

Here is a bit of advice. Browns starting QB and RB have not played a down yet this season. 3rd string QB and only 2 RB available. Viking home opener... Put your entire bankroll on the Vikings -6 and if you win the worst you can do if you keep your bankroll the same is break even at seasons end. If you lose then you can save yourself a season of heart break because it would take a fix of all fixes for the vikings not to win by a TD. Think of it as pulling a band-aide.

VIKES -6 ALL IN

I agree with the consensus here that the Vikings are probably the play here. You would think with GM Mike Lombardi pretty much publicly giving up on this season that the morale of Cleveland players must be pretty low. Does it send the wrong message that next year's draft is more important than winning now? Doesn't it pretty much say that Brandon Weeden is not their quarterback of the future? What else would they need a first round pick for? If that's the case, the Browns could easily mail it in.

I am a little concerned, however, that we haven't seen more line movement and that the spread is still less than a TD. The Browns will be starting backups at 2 major skill positions (at RB and QB). We know the Browns have a decent defense, but what type of effort are we to expect from them, when their GM ships away their most talented weapon. Not to mention, Its Minnesota's home opener and they are in desperate need of a win in order to remain relevant in the highly competitive NFC North.

Jason Logan, a writer for covers, brought up an interesting angle that teams playing in the annual game in London (the Vikings & Steelers next week), are 4-8 ATS since the tradition began. I guess it can be a distraction for players? Who knows?

Just throwing that out there because I am also trying to find a reason why I shouldn't bet the house on Minny.

Good Luck

It's only Thursday, Joe Bettor will be all over it come Sunday driving the line up...Maybe -7 -120 I just don't think the books probably want to move the Vikes to more than a TD favorite here, but could still see it at -8...

{Hi everybody - I just happen to have a "lost" script of  "The Sopranos" that I found}

Mafia Hit Boss - - "ehhhhh T-Rich, you know how you were our #1 running back, da "savior" of our crappy team?????"

T-Rich - - "Yes"

M.H.B. - - "Yeah, well, we says you're gonna go play with that "Luck" kid"

T-Rich - "You mean Andrew Luck Of The Indianapolis Colts?? WHY WOULD YOU SEND ME THERE?? I'M DESPERATELY NEEDED ON THIS BROWNS TEAM THAT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO OFFENSE. ARE YOU GIVING UP ON OUR SEASON ALREADY???? - I'M OUR LEADING RUSHER FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!!!!!"

M.H.B. - - "Don't worry about it, just play nice, ehh,  you're a good kid"

Vikings (yes, the home opener for the 0-2 Vikings) minus whatever - hopefully you get it for under a TD like I did......................

This game SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE....So, a smart decision for everyone on this one...Take control of your own minds...THIS IS A NO PLAY!!!!!!!! Leave this friggin game alone. Trust me, these books are theives. Don't touch this one. Minnesota might win, and they should, but it's not worth getting greedy. I am keeping this one off all tickets, including my teaser cards. I'm ready to win again this week. Cashed in $900 last week off a $30 bet so I know what I'm doing. (And no, I am not female, just using a female's account to post this)

No Richardson No Weeden - Last week I said the Browns would lose ATS , which they did. Claimed they are basicly the same Ole Sad Browns  - which they are . And will continue to lose all season - which they probabaly will !! They will be LUCKY if they win 5 games this year

Go on take the money and run (with AP All Day)

Vikings -6 ( stong play !!!)

Vikings -5

To bad Jason Campbell won't be starting. Brian Hoyer will be the starter for the Browns this week.  Vikings weakest part of there defense is the middle of the field. (TE) Jordan Cameron should have a big day now that (WR) Josh Gordon is off of suspension. We will see how (RBs) Bobby Rainey, Chris Ogbonnaya, and Willis McGahee do at the running back position. Other than that the Browns defense is SOLID!

Vikings of course are the average Vikings nothing more nothing less. There weakest part of that team is Ponder! They have great WRs but can't get them the ball in space. A. Peterson has been held to less than a 100 yards per game thus far. Vikings D have some holes which could lead to big plays in the middle of the field for the Browns.

Although, there is NO Weeden or Richardson the Browns still have a decent team and should give the Vikings all they can handle. I don't think the Browns will win but I think they cover +7.

Early lean Browns
