With that being said, maybe they are due? Carolina's rush defense is just horrible and the panthers have not defended their home turf well all season. They are 2-5 straight up at home and haven't been more than a 5.5 point favorite all season, and now they are laying 9.5? Personally, I think this line is inflated because how the panthers have played the last 2 weeks against the Falcons and Chargers. No doubt, the panthers are a better team than the raiders, but they are not the type of team I want to lay big chalk on. I think the raiders match up ok here and can keep Cam on the sidelines with McFadden running all over their porous rush defense. I will gladly take the 9.5 points here and hope the panthers don't play well as large fav's in this very pointless game. This stinks of a 3-game teaser-buster.

OAK beats KC and all of the sudden people want to take them. The line is -9.5 for a reason because its the only way people will bet OAK. Car by 3 to 4 TD's. look for penalties and turnovers by OAK to make things even worse. No way Palmer gets up for games like this.

Car playing its last home game will play good enough to cover. your dreaming if you think the Raiders will travel across country on a holiday weekend to play a game they dont care about and cover. besides the KC game OAK has been giving up points and CAR offense is clicking right now. I will gladly go against a team that is 2-7 ATS their last 9 and on the road CAR and the over 38-21 GL
