#2 Posted: 11/28/2012 11:46:35 PM Not too concerned with forte's injury. He did practice on wednesday and might even play this week. Regardless, I feel as long as cutler plays (and he should) I like the bears. The Seahawks are playing their second of back to back road games. They'll also be without both of their starting corner backs and they're a much different team on the road sporting a 1-5 record this season. The only thing that has me slightly concerned is that it looks like the bears will be heavily bet by the public this week and I tend to stay away from those situations. |

Seattle is also 1-5 on the road. But it's suppose to be 60° here Sunday so "Bear" weather is not going to be a factor. |

I agree. I thought the Vikings would play the Bears tougher last week and got hurt fading the Bears. The Bears were smart and exposed the Vikings with a lot of 3 step drops and short passes. This was a smart plan to keep Cutler safe, but I think the Seahawks match up much better against this team. They have the corners to man up and can bring the blitz against a very shakey offensive line that will be without the services of right guard Lance Louis, who was absolutely leveled by Jared Allen last week.
I worry about the Seahawks being able to move the ball against this defense. My hope is that the Bears will be a step slower on the defensive side of the ball. Lance Briggs will definitely not be a 100% as he was seen walking around in a boot after last week's game. And Tillman, one of the best corners in the league, is still listed as questionable with an ankle injury. I don't think Seattle will "light up the scoreboard" at Soldier Field this Sunday, but I think they have the tools in play a very competitive game. Just keep in mind who the Bears have faced the past few weeks: the 49ers led by Frank Gore, the Vikings led by AP (who surprisingly came up w a 100 yd day despite a losing effort), and now the Seahawks led by Marshawn Lynch. Seems like their defense can't catch a break and are going up against some of the best running games in the league in 3 consecutive weeks.
Having Devin Hester out doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me given he hasn't done much all season, but its still one less thing Seattle doesn't have to account for. And for those of you who forgot, Alshon Jeffery just had his knee scoped, so he won't be in action. It would seem the Bears just don't have the right personnel to light up the scoreboard. Obviosuly Brandon Marshall is always a threat, but the Seahawks will have the medicine for him and probably mimic the 49er gameplan from 2 weeks ago.
The Bears only put up 3 points in last weeks second half, and I don't think that bodes well for them when they step up in class and play the Seahawks defense.
I guess what I am trying to say is I like the Seahawks to win or lose this game by a fg or so, in a low scoring game.
Seattle 17
Chicago 13
good luck |

Forte should play. He probably won't get 20+ carries, but he should see some action. That really won't sway my opinion one way or the other. Forte has not been a big factor for the bears offense all season. He hasn't even been involved much in the passing game. They might be better off playing bush from the start. Still like the bears in this one as long as cutler's playing, and I'm not a jay cutler fan. The Seahawks on the road is all I need to feel safe with this one. |

The past does not equal the future.....just because Seattle isn't a "road" team, that doesn't mean they can't beat a Bears team with a banged up "O" line.........and Bears offense is ranked 31st by the metrics used by brian burke at advancednfl stats.........Seattle is hungry, I say they will win |

#11 Posted: 11/30/2012 5:10:18 AM I expect the Bears to load up the box and force Wilson to beat them with his arm. Averaging only 16 a game on the road and now going into Chicago, Seattle will find points very hard to come by. This will be a slow game that'll likely be decided by a turnover. I'll eat the points.

#12 Posted: 11/30/2012 12:39:59 PM this game scares me. impulsively, i wanna take Chicago with the revenge factor ( Hanie was QB in last year's debacle ), but then i struggle to see many points on the board by either team which makes the hook look harder to cover. the rain will fall thru Chicago over the weekend, making this a game in the trenches where i feel Seattle has just as much talent on both sides of the ball.
my heart says Chicago, but my mind says stay away. Hawks seem to travel well to Chicago. |

#17 Posted: 12/1/2012 8:13:26 PM This is the most suspect line ive seen in awhile. Your 1st instinct is goin large on Chi town. This is WAY too scary for me. They know somethin that we dont as usual, Gimme the SeaTurds or no play. These teams are kinda similiar and Chi is banged up |

#20 Posted: 12/1/2012 11:29:13 PM F _ _ k Seattle... They are a bad road team. I'm taking the better football team at home at less than a touchdown and living with the result. I'm astonished that Chicago isn't favored by more, I'm cashing in on that mistake. Who's with me??? PICK: Bears -3 |

CUTLER IS ALWAYS A TOTAL CRAPSHOOT, BOTH SEATTLE STARTING CORNERS ARE PLAYING AND THE PUBLIC IS ALL OVER CHICAGO.

#25 Posted: 12/2/2012 12:52:03 AM I really like the Bears in this one. Lifelong Bear fan. Rookie QB coming into Chicago. The Seahawks like fire power weapons. I think the Bears will do well against Lynch. The Seahawks are not a good team on the road- only road win came at Carolina this year. Last year's meeting between these two teams is not an indicator as the Bears were injury riddled with Cutler and Forte out last year. Caleb Hanie and Marion Barber started last years game. I am taking the Bears- I took the Texans and the 49ers recently against the Bears. I rarely take them. I just like them tomorrow. Good luck everyone |
