#31 Posted: 10/28/2012 1:30:56 PM Denver should be ready to roll here, sitting at home waiting for a key prime time match-up since Oct. 16th
Saints coming off a tough divisional game which they won.
Denver's defense is by far superior.....Add in the home advantage record of , 191–65–1, 74-2006, Due to elevation and crowd noise.
Denver 41, Saints 24
I like the over as well.....obviously |

#35 Posted: 10/28/2012 6:30:29 PM favorites getting spanked today. just had to note that. Speaking of favorites im going with Den-6.5 here. also with the over 54. Den should be able to score at will here most the game. Saints D is already shitty high altitude isnt gonna help any. I expect den to put up atleast 40 pts. Den with a top 10 pass d should be able to slow down the saints passing game. i expect new orleans to put a good number also tho at 28pts. My prediction is Den 41-28

#36 Posted: 10/28/2012 6:33:01 PM Under for me. Broncs D steps up at home and once Manning gets the lead they're gonna grind it out.

#37 Posted: 10/28/2012 6:43:05 PM The #'s do say Denver wins this game, but I'm saying the Saints have a shot at covering! Never count the #1 passing offense out!

#39 Posted: 10/28/2012 6:49:42 PM BUYER BEWARE THE "CURSE OF TEBOW"
Whether he can throw correctly or not, Tebow carried a dead team to the playoffs.....AND WON A PLAYOFF GAME.
What thanks did he get.....a one way ticket to back-up Mark Sanchize and the pathetic Revis-island less NY football JETS.
Granted.....Manning is a Hall of Famer. I guess the temptation is if you can get him then get him. But he's not getting any younger. His best years are behind him. He will have about as much impact as a Joe Montana Kansas City Chief. Good story. Denver will remain relevant somewhat. But he's not leading them to the Super Bowl.
/////,,,,,,,,,,,,,................meanwhile.....
This is going to bite Denver in the behind. For a long time. Sure you will see good Bronco moments here and there. But you won't see them in the championship for the next 40 years.
Here and there you will see signs of the Curse rear its head. National TV. Sunday Night Football. Versus an imbattled franchise. Yes.....tonight is one of those nights.

#42 Posted: 10/28/2012 7:02:54 PM Brees and Co. will score. No doubt. The question is this: Can the Saints D stop Manning.
I counter with this. Shouldn't you figure Manning may stop Manning at least once or twice?

#44 Posted: 10/28/2012 7:20:23 PM Betting game over/unders is for suckers. It's a coin flip so why invest in something where you'll lose your money half the time. The only time to bet the total is at half time. Only then can you find shady lines that Vegas tries to trap us with. Same applies with basketball. I'd provide examples but the list is endless. The pro handicappers that set the half-time lines have an idea of which direction the ball games are headed so be sharp and take advantage of THEIR expertise. As for the game, Saints ML for small. This game is HUGE for NO. Broncos could lose here and there and still win their god-awful division. Peyton will be primetime as always but i'd like to see NO squeak out a last minute FG win. GL all. |

Saints ML -----------------> who dat?
sorry, i must have missed something... why should we assume Manning will stop Manning at least once or twice? because he is arguably the most skilled, well-prepared QB of all time?
more importantly, are you suggesting that Manning is more likely to commit a TO than Drew Brees in this game? based on what... that fact that "anything is possible"?
- Peyton Manning has a solid running game to force the Saints' D to remain honest... the Saints do not have anything resembling a running game, meaning the Broncos can blitz all day long, and mix up coverages... conclusion: Brees more likely to throw INT's than Manning
- Manning controls the line of scrimmage better than anybody to ever play football... all night long he will read the defense, and make sure the Broncos are taking advantage of the weaknesses in the defense... Brees reads defenses well, too... but since he has no running game, it really doesn't friggin matter what he reads... they're throwing the ball 50 times tonight...
- Broncos pass defense is solid, and ranks in the top 10, despite playing probably the most difficult schedule in the league in terms of the QBs they have faced (Packers, Chargers, Texans, Patriots...)... Saints defense sucks! no elaboration required... this is probably the worst pass defense in the NFL, probably not just this year, but in recent memory...
given these FACTS... what reason is there to assume that Manning is more likely to commit TO's than Brees?
i'll answer that for you... absolutely friggin nothing!

#50 Posted: 10/28/2012 8:29:33 PM Broncos do not give that kind of spread very often, playing @ home gives them a huge advantage w/ no huddle offence.Denver -6 |
