Both defenses need work and this matchup will not be the game to work out the kinks on short rest. And with the Packers coming off a loss this should be another offensive outing like last years game 2 match-up

Brother NCDC , Shootout could happen...
However , Last years game 2 match-up featured inept Bears Josh Mc Cown @ QB riding 4 game losing streak into Lambeau .
Without ANY offensive support , Bears D pulled a white flag ,losing 5th in a row with Rodgers passing for 283 yrds + 5 TD 's

With questionable run game ,  Rodgers will  hit 250 + yrds passing but will National televised Pumped n' Un-Bruised Bears allow more than 3 TD 's coming off  EZ victory

VS

   PACK     HURTS
      ?   ?   ?
                                       Team with most sacks wins.

    Just saying. . .

Going on the road on prime time doesn't thrill me, but Cutler and Marshall are just getting warmed up and the Bears should be just fine. Bears 38-20.

With the addition of Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffries and Michael Bush; Rifleman Cutler has the most explosive offensive team he has ever had going into Wisconsin (they are going to be really potent when Johnny Knox returns off IR).  He has the weapons to get into a shootout with any team in the league.  Devin Hester is a game changer but Randall Cobb is as well, so special teams are a wash.  On paper Green Bay has a solid defense; unfortunately it doesn’t translate to the field so I give the defensive nod to Da Bears.

After Jim Harbaugh and his desperadoes punched the Packers in the mouth on Sunday, the air of Lambeau Field invincibility has been lifted.  I see a very close contest with a field goal in the last minutes deciding the outcome.  With that said, but me down for THE Chicago football Bears and just south of a touchdown Alex Trebek please.  Thanks!

Screw week 1, GB will play better, Bears will play worse, still a close outing.   OVER 50.5 is teh play .....some books have it off atm though.  PS: GB could win this, don't let week 1 fool you.

I THINK BOTH TEAMS ARE LACKING THE POTENCY ON DEFENSE THEY HAVE IN YEARS PAST.

**NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT WE HAVE THE HIGHEST O/U TOTAL WEVE SEEN IN AT LEAST THE LAST 10 MATCHUPS (THAT SHOULD GIVE U AN IDEA OF WHAT KIND OF GAME VEGAS THINKS IT WILL BE).

6 POINTS IS A LITTLE HIGH FOR THIS TYPE OF DIVISION MATCHUP IF U ASK ME, ESPECIALLY WITH AN IMPROVED CHI TEAM AND A GB TEAM THAT MIGHT BE SPUTTERING A LITTLE BIT

THE HIGH TOTAL INDICATING A SHOOTOUT TYPE GAME U HAVE TO TAKE THE POINTS AND THE OVER, I JUST HOPE THIS TOTAL ISNT A LITTLE TOO INFLATED (3 PTS INFLATED THAT IS)

BEARS +6  OVER 51  FOR NOW

GB - 6 (1 unit play)
i think gb has the pass defense (williams, woodson et al) to shut marshall et al down.  the key for the cover will be forte versus the gb rush defense.

Green Bay - 27                             Chicago - 24

Bears +6

Bears have a purpose, they are 1-9 ats on the road with the o/u line 45 >points. That changes today da Pack wins da Bears cover.

Throw out the numbers, Bears are significantly better on "O", Pakers "D", not so good.  Tide turns on this series.

This is a realistic score. The line is too high should be -3. Over a little heavy as well. Teams on short week usually suffer defensively. Not enough rest. Pack blows em up. GBAY and OV for the large

The Bears had a shortened field last week due to the gifts from Luck.  Indy has no defense. I think GB will be able to put enough pressure on Cutler that he resumes his interception throwing ways. GB will slice and dice Chicago with their system offense. Rain? makes it better as the recievers will get open easier. Green Bay hasnt taken a step back, I submit that Frisco has taken a leap forward on offense and even defense.  Chicago unlike Frisco doesnt have the grey matter in the coaching staff to pull off a greenbay upset. Not to mention that their aging defense has only had 4 days rest.

Taking GB and laying 6.

  33-20  Greenbay

off a defeat the GB's will continue the fall-out maybe.

from a victory Chicago's on an up-tick so maybe some let-down.

GB 21

This is a difficult game to gauge. Being a Bears fan does not help either. However, this is my opinion on what will possibly happen. I feel the Bears need to establish a strong running game to set up big pass plays to Brandon Marshall. The O line was ok in week one and we need them to be a little better this week. The Bears Defense must try to contain and not try to stop Rodgers. That's all you can expect to do. He is going to get his anyway so just try and contain him and not allow any stupid mistakes. It is hard to think the Cheeseheads will lose their first two games of the year at home but This is what I think will happen. Bears 36 Packers 31. Book it!!!!!!!
