9-2-1 vs the spread.  I like Wisky here. South Carolina has trouble matching scores here. 28-17 Badgers

Who did Wisconsin beat this year?  Iowa.  South Carolina is battle tested and way too athletic for Wisky.

You're silly!  ^^^.  Looks like Wisconsin has S.C. beat on passing, rushing, and receiving.  How do you figure they're way more athletic?  Maybe you're looking at the team as a whole, if so...well GL....that's a little too much capping for me.

And it also looks like Whisky beat some pretty good teams.

Wisconsin ML for me!

Being a Gamecock fan since 1990, this game breaks my heart.  I'll watch the game of course, but I already know the results.

-sigh-

Gamecocks +2, better yet I will take the Cocks ML....The wrong team is favored.  The Cocks have better athletes and better talent overall.  They play in the SEC, which is a tough league compared to the Big 10 which is a fraud league.  The Badgers have beaten two so called quality opponents in Iowa and BYU. Some would say Iowa and BYU are overrated...They have lost to 2 powerhouses in Ohio St and Arizona St.  When the tough gets going, the Badgers succumbed to superior talent in OSU and ASU.

Am I missing something?  NOT  I'l take a top tier SEC over a B 10 team with no signature wins and a season ending loss to mediocre PSU  past two years shows SC winning bowl games and Whisky playing tough but losing.  Wilson amd JJ Watt are gone Playing the Cocks straight and teased with Bama LARGE

Wisky can play with this SEC powerhouse. I like Wisky -1.5 and believe me I almost always take the SEC over the Little 10.

I agree, you would win 90% of the matchups if you took the SEC team against the Big ? conference.  But this game feels different, I think this matchup is about even because SC is over rated, and Wisky seems under rated.  I feel Wisconsin wants this more, Spurrier seems to have lost his touch and letting Clowney act like a punk all year has hurt the team.  I will say one thing, Conner Shaw is a warrior, if it comes down to needing a guy to make a play, he is the man.  Hate to see him lay it all out while others on the team are taking plays off.  Badgers power running should succeed against a weak front 7 that has hurt SC more than once this year.  Not going to bet much, but like Wisconsin to win this one straight up.

S Carolina +

Wisconsin thrives on downhill running. If you can't defend against it they run you into the ground. When they have to actually be involved in a game where they must pass (or at least be balanced) they fail.

SC has the defense to force them to pass far more than they care to. Badger QB can't throw  - if he has to !

Meanwhile SC offense more capable than what UW has faced (except OSU). Wisconsin will have to match scores (and they can't)

SC easier than expected here.

Wisconsin couldn't even beat a terrible Penn State team, at home, with a BCS berth on the line.  Very telling.   South Carolina rolls by 10 in Clowney's last game.

Tricky line…  Wisconsin MO is running the football and SC stops the run well.  On the other side of the ball, South Carolina wants to pass the rock first to setup the run and Wisconsin secondary can match the speed of SC receiving core that will be without the services of Damiere Byrd who I think is their top deep threat.

With all that said, I have NO clue who wins this game, but I think the final score will remain under the Total which I think is 8 points to high for this matchup so………………….  Put me down for Under the Total for a Nickel please.  Thanks!

Easiest line of day.  No gimmicks.  Best Gamecock team in last 3 years.  I sense a bloodletting at the Capital One Bowl.  This S.C. team is a couple bounces away from playing for National Championship.  Wisconsin is tough as nails, but South Carolina will cover.  26-20.
