This is where they get there Fl. St. money back. YES Fl. St can kill Duke but I think Duke will play hard and put a few points up most in the 2nd half to get the cover.

Duke is a coving machine they will score 2 TDs an a couple of field goals but will that  be enuff for them to cover that + 30 points against a high power offense that on any giving day easily can put up 50 points but this game might be a look pass me game for flor. Knowing who iam playing in the BCS game devils to back door the points +30

So if the line is 29-ish and the FL line was 28...   are Duke and FL on the same level????    - just typing outloud here...

When the JW info came out, I was kinda thinking Duke would cover.  Winston finally has a huge exhale and the team celebrates.   Knowing they wont LOSE to Duke, do they lighten and loosen up to let Duke in the back door.   But someone smarter than me (Wife) stated that it doesn't even matter.   And I quote:   "Duke is the school that cares about having an immaculate police record.  The Seminoles have been playing with rapists for as long as I can remember."   AAAaaaahahahahahaha     She's so eloquent.

Duke scored 55 vs. Pitt.FS scored 41. Duke scored 48 vs. Miami. FS scored 41.Something to think about when your laying 29 1/2.

Duke will not put up those type of numbers against FSU defense.  The FSU defense alone can win some ACC games alone by the turnover they create into TDs.

Duke has an arsenal of great offensive threats...unlike what FSU faced against Gators.Duke defensive secondary is suspect. We all know what FSU can fo offensively...and they are explosive. Although I look for Duke coach Cutliffe to have both offensive and defensive schemes in place here to keep Devils within a +29 point line. Face reality...football is about strength. ...power...and speed...FSU has that over Duke hands down. I like Duke because they are a more intelligent team and based on Cutliffes job..I feel they will cover. I usually shy awsy for betting against a team that has covered eight straight. I LIKE OVER AND DUKE.47-24.

I have another word about your wife's observation, and it isn't eloquent, maybe "retarded", or "uninformed" would be a better word.  A "cleat chasing" skank is credible to you but it sounds a lot more like buyer's remorse to me.

The false accuser (not a victim, btw) from the investigation's reports went to a nightclub with sperm on her shorts from a previous encounter, gave one of players involved her phone number, then left voluntarily with three men in a cab to their apartment, entered one of the bedrooms with Winston and engaged in oral, anal, and vaginal sex ,then left with Winston on his scooter, again voluntarily, for a ride home.  What 19 year old male would not have done what Winston did in a similar situation?  Time to call HER out for dragging his name through the gutter while she is provided total privacy.  As a woman, your wife should realize the damage SHE has done to future rape victims by showing how vulnerable men can be to silly, unsubstantiated claims.  True rape is a horrible, and stupid crime, but changing your mind in the morning isn't rape and it should carry a high burdened of proof.  Nothing uncovered indicates anything that wasn't consensual sex, and I hope we never outlaw that.

What I want to know is, who made that call to the Tampa newspaper reporter this fall to have all this re-opened publicly?  If Vegas put a line out on it I would bet it came from one of the four schools who would most benefit from it: Auburn, Ohio, Florida, r Alabama.  They all have fan base's/programs who fit the profile to me, no proof, just my honest opinion in a bet I would make.

Fla.St. wins this one easy but I see this as a back door cover for the Blue Devils.Fla.St. will build a lead in the 1st half but will rest their starters in the 2nd.

Why would FSU "rest" anyone?Even in the highly unlikely event they were to lose they wouldn't play another game for about three to four weeks.Wouldn't the starters want to be on the field for the last snap and victory?

Florida St. won't rest there starters for this is an ACC championship game. They'll definitely try to run up the score like they usually do. But the BCS championship game is not until Jan, 6th in Pasadena. So it would make no sense to rest your starters at all in a championship game for Florida St. has over a month to prepare for the BCS!

I agree.  Some people don't know that they are talking about.  I suspect those chaps get slaughtered week in and week out by bookies.  FSU will put up at least 48 pts today.  The rain could be an issue at game time.  I am thinking Dookies will put up <17.

Easy Lover!!!     we are both WELL informed.  and I would take -150 odds to say more than you....    possibly a blind statement, but she works in an SEC athletic dept and we moved last year after she left an ACC athletic dept (in FLA)  her ties to this story are as educated as it gets.

Our household is in FULL agreement with you that its another story about a girl lying to chase cash.

Sorry that I hit a nerve with you, the statement was 100% tongue in cheek.  Im especially sorry because you and I have never crossed "swords" (to make ANOTHER retarded joking statement revolving around this subject).

If Florida State can score a touch down in each quarter, that's 28 points right there..

Duke has enough firepower to keep this somewhat close. They are a quirky "team of destiny" type this year that keeps surprising. I do not see FSU covering that many points in a championship game. With that in mind, I take the 30 points and put a small bet on the crazy moneyline (Duke +2000) just in case!
