ok gents. Chuckie Keeton the Utah star QB is out for the year, and that makes Boise a solid play at -7. grab it  before the line moves.

The Boise D is the concern here.  IMHO Keetons back-up JC transfer, how much wieght can he carry,  Boise's gonna move the chains and score, the back-up for state has to do the same, I dont think he gets it done against a weak BSU D

BSU 16-2 off a bye

Heads up fellow bettors. If you are considering betting on a team that is coming off a bye while the other team is not, Hit it! The opposite is true as well, avoid bets against teams coming off a bye. This trend doesn't hold up in the NFL but is ridiculously predictive of outcome in college football. I wish a had the actual numbers but it is quite striking for all teams, not just Boise St. Hat tip to FleshGordun for pointing this out.

bronco's -7, with keeton it would be a very close game, still without him they keep it close for awhile with their D, but eventually your going to have to put  some numbers up and I do not see a whole lot of that happening for them this weekend, boise state slowly creeps away during the 2nd half and win this one by 17ish, 2 unit play

Dammit chuckie you got blasted! Theres only one small scary thought here. utah st d is decent and last week i think whole team was in shock after seeing their main man get crushed and essentially tapped out. The backup has had a whole week to come up with game plan and get comfortable with system. Boise was planning for chuckie so scrap their old plan. Utah st still has good rbs!! Utah st and OV for the medium.

Wow, another bonehead comment from someone that has just started to pick up on college football betting.  Chuckie Keeton started for the better part of 3 years and accounted for 20 of USU 28 touchdowns.  He's the leader of the team and the best player on teh team.  He was the sole reason I took USU plus the points at USC.  This is a huge loss and it showed last week at they dropped at home to BYU.  IF USU can't move the ball they have no shot to keep pace with BSU.

Keeton IS the offense! with him out idk why this line is still sitting at 7? i guess vegas is always two steps ahead and knows something we don't?

chris peterson is a very intelligent coach. especially from a strategic point of view. Boise is coming off a bye week. which gives peterson a little extra film time to devise a plan on this utah state team hurting from keetons absence. Boise is seeking its first road game and I'm sure they pull it off here!

Huh??  I'm on BSU dumb a$$  whatever check my posts, lets jsut say I'm having fun.  and if i wasnt clear I beleive despite a weak BSU D on the road the USU QB makes mistakes and or doesnt make enough plays to pull the upset and cover.
