Kansas will be out to prove they are top 15-20 after the Iowa State scare.....They've lost a little luster during the past few weeks.....Look for Jayhawks to take out some frustration on Buffs...I don't see a blowout but I see KU controlling the game...
 
Oops....just saw the line at -14.....Might be a no play but I can see KU winning by 17-21...

The Buffs played the Jayhawks tough last year. That was at Colorado. I think Mangini, Reesing and 15 returning starters will find the going a little easier this time around in Lawrence.

Man, I don't know. Huge KU fan here. I had to tell myself over and over coming into this year, "Don't get caught up with last years results." This is not the same team guys. They were pretty much getting blown out at South Florida until a couple very late touchdowns. They were getting spanked 20-0 by Iowa State(not a good team) at the half. IMO Colorado is a better team than Iowa State. Kansas is not a good enough team to be laying 14 against a decent Big 12 team. I think after back to back DD dog covers against KU the books will figure it out and come back down to life a little bit.

I agree w/ the Hottie!  Too many points for this Colorado team that can get hot (see win against WVU).  Kirk Herbstriet (sp?) is big on them too.  Thought they would have played Tex. a little tighter, but then again, we're talkin' Texas here.  So to the point of covering against Kansas, I'd say way too many points, last 2 yrs. the game finished a 5 point difference.  Look for Col. to play tuff, maybe snick out a victory, but not loose to bad if it goes the other way.

KU could've rolled over last week, but the woke up at the half and came back, Colorado hasn't been on the road yet this year and KU is gonna be out to prove itself.
 
Not for sure yet, I don't really take half bets but I do think KU will jump out to a big lead. I just don't know if the D is good enough to keep it big.

One thing I think you have to consider is Kansas has Oklahoma next week and that could be a distraction somewhat.  Maybe just enough to keep this one from a blowout.  I'm thinkin Col keeps it close and covers.

I was all over CU for the CSU / WVU games and I'm not afraid to do it again... I am a little concerned about their defense being exploited by a mobile QB last week against Texas, but Reesing is not as good as Colt
 
I'm taking the points here and looking for an upset... CU runs the ball well and is coming off a loss where the coach will be cracking the whip and getting them ready to make a run at the Big 12...

KU was most likely a fluke last season and have had some closer than expected games this season...all signs point to a CU backdoor cover...

I'm def not afraid to be a fan, but I make my wagers with rationale, and I'm not afraid to bet the other way against my team. Colorado has gone on the road this year (at Florida St.)...and it wasn't pretty. So, that doesn't help my arguement. I just think 14 is too many points to give this Kansas team. They haven't earned a big DD chalk like that. And that's what I call value in a line. And that's what I try to wager on.

Kansas D shutting down the COL offense. Don't see them scoring more than 17. Can Kansas score 31+? I think so. I'll lay the 14 at home against a worsening COL squad that has been facing stiffer compitition the past few weeks. GLTA

Kansas has won some games but they look as if they stuggle against any real competition.

Didn't colorado go on the road to FSU and lose?  Hawkins is a liability, he fumbles when hit and throws picks at unopportune times.  All that said im not sure that CU is not hte play here, kansas lost to SFLA (poss overrated) and beat no one of note.  I'm inclined to put a small play here that says they've been exposed.  As long as C.Hawkins doesn't play like a douche, this will be close even @ Kansas.  Pops Dan is an extraordinary good coach and will have this gameplanned.

Small play Colorado, if Kansas covers here, I'm gonna look for a spot to get my money back later....

and its not like he has talib on the D anymore, kansas isnt 14pts better than anyone in the big 12 this year, the Big 12 is having its strongest year this millenium, I loved Iowa St last week
 
14 is a mistake, only bet when there are mistakes
 
dont worry about Colo getting rung up by Flor St., granted i lost on that game also, but it was just the wrong matchup for Colo and hawkins tried to make too much happen, he will get a chance to play within himself this game
 
only concern is scott (RB) is hurt and its an ankle problem, thats worse than a knee or hip for a back like him, I suppose thats why the line is this high, but it should be about 6 or 7 regardless
 
I could be wrong, but i have a good read on college spreads this year so far, NFL is a different story, isn't it always

I'm going with the Buffs here. I lost money on them against FSU, but really think Colorado can keep it close here. Looking back at this series between these two, KU hasn't beat these guys by more than 14 in forever. Kansas was much better last year and they snuck by them in Boulder and now they are giving up 14? Small play cause I don't totall like the fact that CU's running back is hurt even though they are a passing team.
