My biggest play easily is UIC -1. I have extreme confidence in the Flames pulling out the home win. The only thing keeping the line down is Valpo's close calls in their losses and UIC's 9-1 home record being against less than stellar opposition. Last time they met, the Flames held a 45-33 rebounding advantage, but unfortunately shot 31% from the field (particularly a dismal 2nd half, blowing their 7 point halftime lead). Still they only lost by 4. At home, UIC will take care of business against the Crusaders by at least 5.
Anxious to see where Cleve St. line moves. Lost by 9 at UWGB but are pretty strong at home and UWGB is 0-8against top 200 RPI teams on the road SU this year. Yes you read that right. UWGB is 0-8 SU against top 200 RPI teams on the road. Cleve St. ML if you are nervous.
Utah St. = Winless vs. Top 200 in the RPI this season on the road SU. Strange for a team at the top of the conference eh?
As for SD/SF..... San Fran has not beaten anyone in the top 185 of the RPI this season.
Just some food for thought. I did post some of this elsewhere, so if you have seen some of these quotes rest assured it is me.
