779/780 Portland
State vs. IUPUI over 141 (2-units)
Coach Ron Hunter thinks that this years Jaguars team could
be his best ever. Last season the Jaguars suffered a devastating injury when
first team all conference guard George Hill went down with a broken foot. Hill
is back this season and should be the top player in the conference. Hill wont
have to do it alone this season as he is surrounded with plenty of talent,
Austin Montgomery (13.7 ppg) was the mid continent new comer of the year he
shot 40% from behind the arc and will be able to stretch the defense. The
player that finished behind Montgomery for newcomer of the year was Gary
Patterson (11.4 ppg) and is a solid contributor as well.
The first four games last season when Hill was able to play
the Jaguars put up 86, 74, 73 and 74 points. The Jaguars have shot the ball
very well so far this season shooting 50% from the field against Marquette and
54% and 47% in the other two games.
PSU returns a proven nucleus that features guards Deonte
Huff and Dupree Lucas from last season's 19-7 team, plus a competent supporting
cast led by point guard Jeremiah Dominguez, giving third-year Vikings coach Ken
Bone a stronger team top to bottom than he had a year ago. The Vikings like to
play a very up-tempo game finishing #15 in the league last season averaging
73.0 possessions per game. Viking games averaged 153.5 points per game last
season they averaged 83 points per game against opponents with defense rated
the same or worse than the Jaguars.
Neither one of these teams is very good defensively as the
Jaguars were ranked #293 in defensive efficiency and the Vikings were ranked
#193. I would discount the Viking game against UCLA as the talent level is
worlds apart and the Bruins have one of the best defenses in the nation. With
the pace that this game will be played at and the lack of defense along with
quality scorers on each team this total looks far to low.

Helmut, I have been trying to get an advantage betting totals for years and have had a lot of success with different systems. Great run and much appreciate the info, was curious about 1 thing: Why are your bets all moving slightly before you bet them? Are you and your friends betting a lot on the games in different Island accounts right before you release? Anyway, thanks for the continued analysis!
