I even put in my writeup I was worried about these shenanigans: the TV and NCAA wants an exciting finish so if one team goes up big they start calling BS fouls on them.
How else does a completely ice cold team that can't even get to the rim reel off 16 straight points?
In college this kind of nonsense is even worse because the foul limit is lower so a guy picks up fouls he has to sit.
in the 1st half a SC player gives Karnowski a krav maga style face rake and no call. 2nd half he goes straight up in the air outside the circle SC player jumps into him and gets the call.
Absolute joke and it was so blatant they did everything they could to get the Gamecocks back in the game.

Philly, it was one of the toughest second halfs ive had to swallow. It was blatant bad officiating. Nobody can deny that. The Florida game was bad enough....this was one was worse considering SC did NOTHING to deserve to keep that game close. 15 fouls called on the zags in that second half. Moving on brotha

I'm not one of those guys that makes a habit of whining about refs because usually the bad calls even out, even the refs themselves usually know when they've made a bad one and then will give out a makeup call but that was just brutal it was so obvious. In a close game no way they give one team that many calls but in college especially if a guy has a few already you affect the game so much by calling another one on him because not only is it either a one and one or a turnover or 2 shots but the guy will have to sit for a while.
The offensive call on Collins was a complete joke the guy wasn't set at all unlike Karnowski who was set and went straight up.
I'm steamed even more because last night in the NBA the refs that did the Orlando vs Boston game were awful as well they made so many blatant bad calls. Look at SB nations facebook page and look for the post 'when taking a charge goes wrong' for a start. Marcus Smart got ran over by Gordon on a dunk with his feet set in stone outside the circle and his hands in and clasped and instead of a charge they gave Gordon a friggin and 1 and that was only one of many.
I hate to bring race into it but the black ref called a lot of the bad ones in this match and when it was a white guy vs black guy he screwed the white boy every time. He called that BS offensive on Collins for his 4th and then gave Karnowski his 4th on that play where he went straight up.
That's why I never get carried away with the semi final and finals games in any sport. You're much more likely to end up with some weird stuff or some ridiculous calls because the refs want to get in the spot light.
Anyway, I'm gonna stick with the Zags on Monday night I'm done ranting about this but it does annoy me to start the night getting robbed by some refs in the pockets of the TV network and NCAA who can't let the game unfold as it should and try to keep it close.
It's like when you're playing Madden and as soon as you get a 2 TD lead you start fumbling and throwing picks every time you get the ball and the other teams RB breaks every tackle.

quit your whining....you all know how the NCAA is and SC should have won. The NCAA wanted the Zags in it before the year started anyways and you got it.

Philly is correct the game was 100% rigged the 2h to keep the game close and give SC a cover. Gonzaga was legitimately 10x's better a team then SC and refs had their hands full even keepin it close with whistles.
The crazy thing is all the true degens like us that bet everyday see rigged games all the time and its still hard to capitalize on it consistently and make $ (Due to bias, lack of confidence in what you are seeing ect) We need to band together and start monetizing on these clear moosed games (Which is the purpose of this forum).
If you cant see it happening and think its all true sports then kudos to you......you probably live a very simple and what I would imagine care free/stress free life due to the fact that your obv blind to how the real world works.
There were fouls called by the refs in the first half just to get a break in action and go to a commercial... they do this consistently early in games to fuel the Advertising Beasts more and make more ad rev (Also why big games usually dont get out of hand, and spread margins stay close......watch Oregon go cold for 6 mins and score 16 pts in that timespan, gotta love refs!)follow the $ and you can also make $!
Also great analogy on Madden Philly! Every time you get up a bunch of TD's the game AI just starts nerfing the darn out of you! lol

I had under 137.5 in the Gonzaga- South Carolina game. I thought the SC defense would play much better , especially in the first half. Gonzaga dictated the pace , SC had an overrated defense . I should have remembered the Duke game and taken the over .
