Buffalo vs Ball st : Clearly Ball st is the better team . And the fact that there at home but only favored 2.5 pts is very fishy so with that being said .......Take Buffalo +2.5

This is a game to stay away from . For all intents, the services such as sagerin , kempom , oddshark and dunkel have it as a narrow home court advantage for ball state. Anywhere from 2-4 1/2 points.
Ball state is tempting because of its ats success.
Since the total lowered to 155 1/2, I took the over. Game should play over 160. Maybe overtime .

You guys are correct either take Buffalo or stay away ...but the line should be Ball st -6.5 or 7 . And i believe the game will fly over . Id say 79-77 buffalo

i think its low because buf cmmn off a big upset vs c mich... revenge game from loosing to ball st... i personally dont think it is a trap... i think its just the wrong spread.... you have to remmeber that superbowl is around the corner...and nba is still live and running... oddsmakers tend to over look college basketball games especially friday night games...considering they are getting all their prop odds and lines for over and under in order they may have looked over this game slightly... i truly do not think it is a trap i think it is a golden bet we have just found .... ride ball st as i cant see them loosing at home after beating buf by 15...alomost a 21 point swing...that would be hard

Are you sure Ball State is "clearly" the better team? The power rankings utilized by Vegas in setting lines would disagree with that assessment:
KenPom:
#163 Buffalo
#178 Ball State
Sagarin:
#158 Buffalo
#161 Ball State
Easy to see why, too. Ball State played the second-worst (#350/351)non-con schedule in the country.
Of Ball State's 22 games, exactly TWO (2) have been against teams ranked in the Top 100. BSU's best non-conference win is...Bradley (#245). BSU played four of the 15 worst teams in the country in addition to NAIA school Indiana-Kokomo.
Buffalo went through the non-conference ringer with true road games at Xavier, Pitt, St. Bonaventure, and Creighton, as well as neutral-court tournament games against Nevada and Weber State.
I'm not advocating a play on Buffalo, per se, but there's a lot more to this than simply looking at meaningless W-L records without putting them into proper context.
