I love this match-up and I love this Seton Hall team. People recognize Gonzaga purely because of their small school feel that is always good. But people have overlooked this Pirate team until they won the Big East Tourney.
Seton Hall has the following quality wins:
-Wichita St.
-@ Providence
-Xavier
-Xavier (neutral)
-Villanova (neutral)
They match-up well with balanced teams, who have tough bigs who are a threat to score and rebound (Xavier), and who have guards that penetrate and can shoot well from behind the arc (Villanova). And they have proven to play decently well on the road (7-4) and on neutral courts (5-1). I think that Delgado down low can match-up with Sabonis and Sanogo or Rodriguez can slow down Wiltjer enough to make it a guard's game. In this case, the game belongs to Seton Hall. Whitehead is one of the hottest players in the country and Carrington can score at any moment.
I like #6 Seton Hall to advance past Gonzaga, and then #14 Fresno St. Unfortunately, the end of the road will come against #2 Michigan St. Although, I believe it will be much closer of a game than most people would think.

Agreed, Seton Hall's guard play is very strong both ways. I think if head coach retains his players and team remains intact next year they are definitely a top 5-10 team.
I also see them losing a close game to MSU after good wins over Zaga & Utah

I love Seton Hall in this spot as long as Whitehead can play at his usual level against the defensive player of the year in Gonzaga's conference (McClellan). He is the real deal but I have to give the edge to Whitehead as he is extremely hot right now.
It would be hard for anyone to argue that Whitehead wasn't he MVP of ALL the conference tournaments - I hope he can keep it up against Gonzaga.

Wiltjer can be a matchup problem if he gets hot from the outside and Sabonis should give them all they can handle on the glass even though Seton Hall does rebound well
