I kinda feel this could be a public bloodbath. Rutgers is bad no doubt, but I just think Ohio St. is expected to cover way too many points. Saturday home games seem to bring out the best of teams. I'd lean Rutgers, but no play for me personally because after all, it is Rutgers. I think they failed to cover like 28 points at home a couple weeks back. BOL to you if you take Ohio St.

I live by Rutgers and follow the basketball and football teams and I was very surprised at this line. I was looking for more of a line like 16 to 17.
So this line definitely is scary enough for me not to play it.
The only thing I can think of is that Rutgers is on a very long losing streak and teams like that get ultra-desperate to break those streaks as they continue to extend.
Even at that, Rutgers got destroyed at Michigan State just last week on this losing streak where they should have been able to perform decently (as 29 pt dogs, they did not cover).
So 12 to me is just...wow.
I'm far more interested in the next game vs. Illinois and this OSU game I'm tabling out of fear of the line.
The problem is Rutgers has no size and continually get dominated on the boards. Second chance points, lack of offensive rebounding just takes leads up and up and up.
12.5 says this is a 6-7 pt game late. That's a VERY tough sell for Rutgers imo.
I'd lay off and wait for the Illini, a game where I am hoping for a very generous line. I really am hoping for an OSU blowout here to make that spot even better.

Yea I saw that 28 and was shocked to see they didn't cover...Thats why I was confused by this line. I'll probably stay away. Thanks. Any thoughts on Butler Xavier? I love Xavier.

I'm looking for a lot more from St. John's tonight than what Rutgers did vs. MSU. 28 points gets my attention even with the worst of the worst which St. John's is. Still, they have had very brief flashes to hang with good teams so I'm hoping they cover such a number.
