Up front Take Lehigh... and if you don't I'd say don't bet this game vs putting money on Bucknell...
Side by Side each teams schedules BPI per opponent about the same. Bucknell has not beat anyone special. In fact they just stuggeled getting by last place American low low bpi ... Lehigh just destroyed American.
Lehigh has won last 2 home games vs Bucknell.... They beat Bucknell at home by 20 pts last year (lost by 6 at bucknell)
Lehigh returns 4 starters from that team. Lehigh had 4 players in that game with double figures points all returning.
Lehigh started go 6.10 JR 6.4 Jr 6ft soph 6.8 SR all returning. and first 3 players off bench are 6.4 SR 6.4 SR and 6.8 SR
Lehigh destroyed American last game, held them scoreless for 9 mins 2nd half! got to rest their players. Leading scorer Center Kempton was 2 of 3 shooting... i was like he normally takes 12 shots per game.... well he must have got to sit most of 2nd half. Hence why Senior Chuku was in Double figures.
Bucknell starters go Haass 6.5 SR Center 6.9 Soph and 6ft Guard Soph... all 3 return from last year. Didn't do much in lehigh game. Other returning starter Thomas 6.6 Forward... only had 2 pts last game think he is hurt. Then they go Frazier SR 6ft guard who sux off bench. And hoffman 6.7 SR off bench. then bucknell goes Frosh Frosh Junior off bench each average.
In summary. Lehigh has returning upper classman... size...scoring.... they are rested... have played a tougher schedule vs D one schools... perdue and so on... Bucknell just struggled past American worst team in conference...

I would not take Lehigh. I think this game could go either way. But, if I had to pick, it would be Bucknell. They are clearly the better team. As for American U., Bucknell beat them at home by 18 points with 12 of that spread coming in the 2nd half., whereas Lehigh beat them by 15 points on the road with 6 of that spread coming in the 2nd half. Looks like a wash. Another common opponent (Army), Bucknell beat @Army by 8 points with 7 coming in the 2nd half., whereas Lehigh lost by 6 points at home with Army leading by 11 at halftime.

On a game with a spread of less than 2 pts its inherently a pick em you can argue both ways. So I'm just stating how i see it. Army game... Army trailed Bucknel by 4 pts with 2mins to play... Buck didn't exactly run away with that one
and yes when army makes 7 first half 3's to Lehighs 2 ... prob gonna be down 11 at half, Army made 12 threes for game, that will beat a lot of teams. They are 10 and 3 so not exactly a bad loss.
Or playing that game lets go out of conference to Mount st marys... BPI 34... Buck lost lehigh won. can do that all day. Margin of victory... Lehigh rested its starters 2nd half of some while Bucknell finished with 4 starters with double figures. Like i said i will take 4 returning starters at home any time vs a young buck team on a national Televised game. in summary this game is like we said a pick em... teams will need to make shots to win. Play D... last two opponents have scored combined 100 pts total vs lehigh.
Ps.... bucknel is 4 and 0 in conference so far... haven't started conference play 5 and 0 since the 2005 - 2006 season. If fresh and sophomores can hit 12 threes and out shoot lehigh on their home floor in that spot light on TV... hats off... i will admit i was way off.

last observation.... i find it a lil strange that a lehigh team with so many returning starters ... 4 from last years team that smoked bucknell at home are home dogs and the spread has stayed at -1 , -1.5, to -2 favoring buck... and not for one minute has Lehigh ever been favored in this game yet?? seems fishy to me...

I think Bucknell turned you down for enrollment and now you have a beef with them, sound like it at least
Yes those Patriot conference admissions are pretty cut throat. The interview process was entirely flash cards and One's ability to color inside the lines. Finger painting though was def my downfall garbage...

Not sure what this is about, and I didn't go to a Patriot League school, but the conference is universally recognized for its outstanding academics.
Lehigh and Lafayette are top-notch schools, and Army/Navy are among the most difficult schools in the country to gain attendance.

What? I think most PL schools accept around 30% of their applicants, and that doesn't count the academies which accept, ultimately, something like 10%.

no no i was being sarcastic towards the semi patronizing comment towards my failure to attend Buck... was laying it on pretty thick. just attempting to make my clearly stupid comment more witty and clever than that guys stupid comment. ok that should catch everyone up. here we go
