Nice day Saturday as I went 4-2, which consisted of 2-0 in NCAA, 1-1 in NBA, and 1-1 in hockey. Very easily could have been 2-0 in NBA as I got nipped by a point in my loss. Best part was that I hit my BIG Play on Wisconsin, and I also nailed my posted horse race winner with Constitution in the Florida Derby. Those of you that watch my threads know that I am now 3-1 in posted horse plays, and I never, ever bet ML favorites. On to Sunday. I am excited because I finally got my mojo back baby...Love this card tomorrow. Will be adding some things throughout the day, but I just locked these in:
Uconn +6 (Big): Uconn has been undervalued all year and people still continue to overlook them even thought hey are in the Elite 8. I am guilty of this as well, as one of the 3 Big Plays losses I have in the tourney was Nova against the Huskies. I also have MSU picked in the Final 4 in all my brackets, and I feel that MSU is the 3rd best team in the country (behind Florida and Wisky). With all that being said I think this game comes down to a bucket or two at most. Napier and Boatright will keep the Huskies in this game, and possibly get them a trip to the Final 4. Huskies shocked the world and won a title as an undervalued, overlooked team a couple years ago. They did that with great guard play and a hot streak at the right time of year. Sound familiar? They have great guard play and they are playing great right now. Not saying they win a title or even this game. I am just saying they cover the spread.
San Diego Padres +105 (Big): Andrew Cashner is a beast. Padres will catch the Dodgers feeling good about themselves after winning a pair down under. Pads offense sucks, but they hit lefties reasonably well. I like Ryu and I think he will pitch well, but Cashner will out-duel him and the Fathers will get a home win to start the year.
Still pondering Kentucky-Michigan, as well as some horses, pucks and NBA for tomorrow. Will update in morning. BTW, if your book has Monday baseball lines up already, jump on the Buccos and Francisco Liriano at -160 now before that goes up, up and away. Superman reference in honor of Andrew McCutchen, who has continued to tear the cover off the ball all spring.

Glenn, Great pick on Wisky last night. I did pretty well last night on Wisconsin and the Sixers, and I lost a little bit back on the Leafs. I like your Uconn pick today. On which message board are you going to post your picks after the college hoops season? Mike

I liked that Leafs pick last night, but man was that team dogshit...no ffreakin' heart to lose 7 in a row...JVR-KESSEL no wonder we got beat by Canada 1-0 !
I'm on UCONN too, bet it yesterday morning at +5.5,was afraid of this line getting bet down. I also like Kentucky today.

Switching over to the baseball forum here at covers, as most of my plays will prolly be bases, with a little NBA/NHL mixed in.
