Got the season started off right by hitting Gardner Webb +18.5 on Sunday.
One play for tomorrow off my BetOnline account.
Wednesday 11/28
778 UCLA -15.5
I'm always looking for good spots combined with line value. Think we've got one here. Things set up nicely here for a UCLA bounce-back after being embarassed by Cal Poly. Howland should have these guys ready to play. In addition, I believe the line value is there. My line for this game is -18.5, KenPom's line also at -18.5. And when you look at the KenPom rankings, you'll see Cal Poly at #189 and Cal St. Northridge at #188. And yet UCLA was laying -21.5 against Cal Poly and now only -15.5 against Northridge. There looks to be a soft line here waiting to be exposed.

Scary, but UTEP is in a nice bounceback spot after a terrible three days in Orlando. NMST is their biggest rival, and if motivation is not at an all-time high right now, then when will it be?
Bit of a sandwich for Creighton after winning the Vegas tournament and with a major revenge game on-deck with SJU.

Philly, what's up buddy. Long time since we spoke.
Not going to be keeping track of anything. I mentioned in my initial thread that college basketball is not my forte. These are really, really small plays for me, and I don't put nearly as much time as I do with baseball. As such, there are many times I won't beat the closing number (witness the fact that UCLA is already down to -14.5) I'm not extra confident in my college basketball capping skills, like I said these are more just small action plays to pass the time until baseball season.
I would definitely not recommend tailing me for college basketball. There are a ton of other reputable college basketball cappers on this forum. Check out KineProfessor, NRopp, Train, JFen. All of these guys are rock solid and are way more in tune with things than I am. Also check out a former covers member on twitter (Stuckey2). He is as good as it gets as well.

I don't put much stock into coach or player quotes regarding an upcoming game, but based of this hopefully the players got the message and we get UCLA's best effort tonight:
*** When the UCLA basketball team broke down footage of its upset loss to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, "it was brutal," freshman Jordan Adams said Tuesday.
"We didn't play hard," he added. "The film showed it all."
*** "We really need to come out and make a statement," freshman swingman Shabazz Muhammad said.
*** Several UCLA players said improvement starts with practice, and point guard Larry Drew II said the team's practices leading up to the San Luis Obispo game were poor.
"You practice how you want to play," Drew II said. "I think it showed."
Muhammad said practices have been better the last two days.
