Wake Forest +11 - I have to think UConn is a bit overvalued here after beating Michigan State and traveling back from Germany.  Also feel like the Deacons have their back against the wall heading into this year and Bzedliek (sp?) has his guys in there now.  He hasnt done well, but he can coach.  Im even tempted to take a moneyline bet on the Deacons here.  Just dont see how the young group of Huskies will respond after a big win, lots of travel under a new coach.

Utah -3.5: Utah was brutal on the offensive end last year and I think this line is this low because of that.  No way they could be worse and I think things will start turning the corner there this year.  Seems like an early season gift against Sac St.  This Utah team will be better than last year.

Want to know how bad Wake is?  Arguably their best player, Tony Chennault, transferred to Nova, who is completely rebuilding, and Chennault barely plays. THAT is how bad Wake was last yr.  They didnt exactly add much in way of highly ranked talent either.

Ryan Boatright, DeAndre Daniels, Shabazz Napier and Omar Calhoun would all be the best player on Wake's sorry roster.  That team is terrible.  Just sayin.

Uconn is the ral deal.  Too bad they are on probation.  This is a type of team that could go on a little run in the tourney.
