Overall: 11-11 (+0.4 units)
Wednesday: 3-1 (+1.8 units)

Like this card quite a bit. It will be my largest of the season thus far.

Dayton +3 (1 unit)
Oregon State +2.5 (1 unit)
Western Carolina +17.5 (1 unit)
UMASS -9 (1 unit)

May add another unit to the Beavers but I want to see where the line goes.

Leans:
nOVA +2, Cal Poly -3, Akron-OK State 1H Under 65, USM-Georgia Under 125

Thanks fellas.

Akron v. OK State 1H Under 64.5 (1 unit)
Standard under play in an unfamiliar neutral-site setting with an early morning tip-off. Dambrot says Abreu is nowhere near 100% and still has "about 10-15 pounds to shed" before returning to optimum form. Really like the OK State wings defending the perimeter against a quality outside shooting team, as well as Marshall's ability to dominate the interior at the other end.

No interest in a side for Akron/OK State. Way too many injuries, suspensions, and general confusion for me to get involved. This play is mainly predicated on start time and venue.

Oregon State +2.5 (1 unit)

Oregon State ML +120 (1 unit)
Dayton +3 (1 unit)
W. Carolina +17.5 (1 unit)
UMASS -9 (1 unit)
Akron vs. OK State 1H Under 64.5 (1 unit)

Leans:
nOVA +2, USM-Georgia Under 125

Interested in why you like Oregon State so much? I think I do too but more of a fade of Bama than a play on the Beavers.

Why Dayton?

I feel like Colorado is going to be too athletic and quick for them. Wear em down.

Maybe last year that would have been the case, but Dayton now has a pair of really good guards with Dillard and Sanford, the latter of which can play either spot in the backcourt. Perhaps more importantly, they get Josh Benson back into the lineup after he missed most of last season to injury. Prior to that, though, Benson was looking like one of the most impactful frontcourt guys in the A-10 and will probably draw Roberson for much of the afternoon. The most important thing for me here is that Miller has implemented the "pack-line" defense utilized by Virginia, Saint Louis, etc, which clogs the lane and forces teams to win from the outside. It looks quite a bit like a matchup zone but with more emphasis on shutting down the paint. Colorado will have to win this game from the perimeter, and in an unfamiliar setting and early tip time (10:30 A.M. Mountain), I'll take my chances.

Laroja - No real lean. I initially liked Cal Poly but no reason to force things.

Yacker - I think this game is similar to the Creighton matchup from last year in the NCAA's. Yes, OSU does not play particularly inspiring defense, but ultimately you have to put the ball in the bucket to win games. OSU has a variety of zones it can deploy to force Alabama to win the game from the outside. At MSG, a difficult to place to shoot, that seems like a tall order. This Beaver team has so many intriguing pieces and from what I read yesterday and today this could very well be their long-awaited coming-out party.

Jeroh - Think Drexel wins but not laying the points. It may take them some time to get accustomed to playing without Sammie Givens, one of the most underrated players in the country.
