Veteran Joined: Sep 2009 Posts: 3488 Location: Texas	#3 Posted: 2/22/2012 12:12:13 PM First locked in play: Wichita State -6 -110 WSU beat Illinois State earlier in the year by three playing at home. Now they go on the road and are favored by 6. I think there is good reason for this and it is the fact that WSU is just a much better team. When they played previously, WSU shot well below their season average. I hate taking road chalk, but I think they get it going tonight and win this one by 10+.

Notre Dame has been fairly unbeatable at home this year, with the lone exception being against Connecticut. That one still baffles me. Anyways, they have an opportunity to pick up another quality win tonight to continue to help with seeding against a good West Virginia that isn't very good on the road. WVU might keep this close for a bit, but I suspect ND will by 5-10 points.

Bill Self's teams for whatever reason have been very focused the game before the Civil War game. They have covered the spread at something like an 80% clip over the last five years. Add-in that they likely see the conference there for the taking with the Tigers losing on Monday night and I suspect they will be focused. A&M could cover as we have played decently at home this year, but in my personal opinion I see the Jayhawks winning by just a little over the number (maybe 12). At any rate, as I have said before, unless I think we cover, I don't bet our games. So, no play for me.
