Thad Matta is a knuckle head. His team is experienced but Thad Matta's horrible coaching will nullify this. I expect Kentucky to come out of the gates quickly and not let up. Thad Matta will probably wait too long to take a time out until his team is on the brink of oblivion. I'm not joking either.
The matchups here are greatly in favor of Kentucky here. I am not sure where their bucket are going to come from for Ohio State.
Also, Ohio State got a gross missmatch against Mason. Kentucky had to grind against a scrappy WVU team. This greatly favors Kentucky as OSU will be flat footed and not know what to do with the frantic pace and speed of Kentucky.
Kentucky + 6.
Kentucky 1st half + 3.

Josh Harrelson should force OSU to play Dallas Lauderdale. This is a small advantage for Kentucky. Terrence Jones and Sullinger should be a wash, maybe slight advantage to OSU. The rest of the guard play I give a small advantage to Kentucky due to athleticism. Guys like Deibler and Kraft will not get it done. Lighty is a choker when the pressure is on. I think this stable of freshman show up an overrated OSU team with a weak coach.

I'm sorry, i really like your write up and the fact that you're making your own picks and not tailing what other people say/do, but have you watched Lauderdale? He is a monster, no lie. This is the guy that has been their go to man down low up until sullinger got there. He's a monster that can, and expects, to block every shot within 3 feet of him. This speaks WONDERS of Sullinger.
I've watched Harrelson play a lot this year and he gets his edge from over the backs on the boards. I can gurantee you that sullinger or lauderdale don't put up with that ish and they put him in his place real fast, which is in the backwoods in his cabin, strummin' on his banjo and chewin on a fat log.
I'm looking perimeter in this game. Too many big bodies on the floor here. It's going to be a clusterfuck on the inside and anyone under 6-7, 240, should really be worried about their health when they go in there.
I like OSU's perimeter game much more than i like UK's. I can say i've watched about 7-8 games for both teams and OSU's perimeter game and ball movement are much more impressive than UK's. UK just seems more like a dribble drive team, and OSU is more of a pick/roll and cut team. I think the cutters are going to win this game

I have watched Lauderdale for years and he may be the least improved players in NCAA over their career. He surely does take up space, but this guy is slow and has had hands, especially offensively. My guess is he picked up the game late in life.
I think Terrence Jones should be able to operate down their in the paint and hopefully draw fouls on Sullinger and Lauderdale.
Fouls on Sullinger and this thing turns in Kentucky's favor real fast. He is prone to pick up charges when in a real game with a hostile environment.

Very interesting angle. I have to say it's relieving to actually talk angles with another capper instead of listen to "this team is good, they win!" shit.
I'm going to have to go do some research and see what kind of trouble Sullinger gets into early in games. I just feel like if Sullinger has to sit from fouls, Lauderdale is a pretty solid replacement, but it's a huge IF. If Sullinger doesn't get in any foul trouble, it's going to be tough for kentucky to contain him. He's a really, really big dude that just doesn't move when you try to get him to. He loves to play a physical game and back you down, which i think he can do relatively easily in this one.
All signs are pointing to OSU for me, but I'm going to watch the lines and see what I can get and where they go.
