Pending Conference Tournament Futures (SEC) Mississippi State +6000 ($5 to win $300) (Big Ten) Penn State +10000 ($5 to win $500)
Rebounded from a brutal start to finish slightly ahead on the day. I'm heading over to Boardwalk Hall shortly for the Dayton/Xavier game and then of course the SJU/Duquesne matchup. I'll bring my computer as I've heard they have wireless throughout the building...
Dayton +7 vs. Xavier(1 unit) X is the top seed and on a really impressive roll ever since their stunning loss to Charlotte. Dayton is their biggest rival and the games are almost always close and very physical. On a neutral court where neither team is familiar with the surroundings, I'll take the team that often plays "up" to superior competition and has a knack for hanging tight in games. Plus, Dayton has nothing to lose and there are rumors swirling regarding Brian Gregory's job. Also, officials call tighter games in conference tournaments and Xavier has only 7 guys in its rotation. In regular season play this was rarely a problem but it'll be interesting to see how the refs officiate this game. Regardless, I like Dayton to put forth its best effort of the year and be in a position to possibly win at the end.

St. Joe's +10.5 vs. Duquesne (1 unit) Yeah, I know, it looks like a homer play. But I've been against the Hawks several times this year and feel really good about how they're playing right now. This is a completely different team than the one that began A-10 play 0-8 as the freshmen have matured and the defense is better than it's been in a long time. I'm heading to the arena now and could go on forever here but the Hawks will be running their newly-found Burn Offense that has enabled them to shoot around 50% when used properly. This is a severe contrast in styles as Duquesne wants to employ full-court pressure and speed up the tempo. I think Phil (Martelli) will be ready much like he was against GW and we see a game in the 50's or maybe low 60's.

So the under in the St. Joe's vs Duquesne looks good then.
It's a battle of tempo. If SJU doesn't fall behind by more than a few possessions than I think the under will be fine. But if they get down 10-12 points the whole thing gets shot to hell
Crus, glad you're in attendance too. Like your Dayton/X over but am gonna stick with the side bet.

Still catching my breath from the SJU/Duquesne game. Wild, wild affair and I can't believe the Baby Hawks are still going. Dayton is a much better draw than Xavier, obviously

Alright fellas, thanks for the kind words. Settled back in now and finally getting to watch SportsCenter. SJU highlights up next! Haven't seen em yet. Adding two plays:
Texas A & M +2 2H vs. Texas (1 unit) San Diego State @ UNLV ML +105 (1 unit)
I think A & M keeps it really tight and the Runnin Rebs defend their home court and avoid losing to SDSU for the third time this season. Also like Oregon much like last night but staying away due to a concern about fatigue in what will be a very high-tempo game.

Penn State future bet still alive! Awful game though. PSU has a tough one with Michigan State tomorrow but I feel decent about their chances and it sure beats having to face Purdue.
Looks like Mississippi State in a very tight one with Vandy..
