Interested in a couple matches tomorrow:
-gasquet vs haase
-haas vs johnson
-lopez vs lajovic
-kohl vs seppi
-querrey vs chardy
-melzer vs evans
-hewitt vs gimeno traver
Looking at all of these and will have plays later
Querrey fade here. Also Chardys grass results are quite good. Only Djoker and Stan beat him on grass while he obtained wins over Harrison and Struff last year. Querrey has lost 4 out of his last 5 matches on grass to plays like Smyzcek (who plays virtually no grass), Tomic, Hewitt and Sela. Looks like Querrey used to get good results on grass back in 2008-2012 but he suckks now in my opinion. Maybe he can prove me wrong tomorrow, but I doubt it vs Chardy.
Melzer showed decent form on clay the past couple months with wins over Cilic and Isner. His grass history shows his ability to beat quality players but sometimes some dissapointing losses. Evans is 8-10 overall on grass since 2010 and not too many impressive results. I think Melzer gets by tomorrow.
Gimeno Traver fade here. I dont even understand why he would travel to this tournement? His grass record is beyond atrocious and extremely limited. And then he gets Hewitt in the first round who is very fluent on grass. I worry about Hewitt's shoulder but I think if he doesnt retire, he should roll very easily over the clay courter. Gimeno Traver is 3-10 on grass since 2010 and he has lost 7 in a row, not winning since 2011. Hewitt has beaten players like Isner, Hernych, Del potro, Querrey, and Dimitrov on grass the last 2 seasons.
